Larry Kudlow was asked directly how it was that Trudeau “betrayed” Trump and lied to Trump when he said they would impose tariffs in response to Trump’s tariffs.
Here’s what he said – at about the 2 minute mark:
Kudlow doesn’t explain it at all. She directly asks him if Trudeau promised to call off the tariffs – he can’t answer. He deflects to some weird generalization about good faith in agreeing to the G-7 communique. It really sounds like Trump expected Trudeau to drop the tariffs, and then got angry when he didn’t. Which is kinda what everyone said would happen. This alls sounds like a ploy too – be as extreme as possible in their criticism of Trudeau, hoping he will back down. And so far, the Canuckians are not backing down. #MAGA!!!!
And to finish it off, Kudlow defends Putin. Because Putin is our good friend, not like that lying betrayer Trudeau!! #MAGA!!!
