Mark Levin endorses Ted Cruz for US Senate in Texas

This dude sounds amazing. He’s already been endorsed by Sen. Mike Lee, the Club for Growth, Freedom Works, and Erick Erickson from Redstate and he has a ton of experience standing up for conservative principles as Solicitor General for Texas for the last 5 years. There’s much more of his experience stated in the interview.

Not only is he a principled conservative, but even his family understands liberty in ways most of us have never experienced. His dad, who fought in the Cuban revolution, was tortured and imprisoned in Cuba and after his release being secured by a bribe from his father, he fled in 1957 to Texas and began to work his way through college at the University of Texas. Cruz recounts the words of his father when he was a child, words that he says captures better than anything why he is running for US Senate:

When we faced oppression in Cuba I had a place to flee to. If we lose our freedom here, where do we go?

I believe that this man is someone we can get behind for US Senate in Texas. His website is http://www.tedcruz.org/
