Martha McSally called for the head of WHO, Dr. Tedros, to step down over the organization’s constant sucking up to China and helping them cover up their incompetence in the coronavirus outbreak.
It’s unconscionable that the WHO has helped China cover-up its mishandling of the coronavirus crisis for months, while thousands die globally. I’m calling on the Director-General of the WHO to resign. pic.twitter.com/f2TItzZcnh

I would be totally for this except for one thing – Dr. Fauci of President Trump’s coronavirus task force completely vouched for Tedros, and said he was a very capable doctor and leader of the World Health Organization.
But whether that is true or not, McSally is right to say that China should forgive the debt that the U.S. owes them as a punishment for how they screwed up the coronavirus response. I would think that if Trump made some calls and really persuaded world leaders that China should be punished, this could go somewhere serious. I don’t think we could do it unilaterally because it would just be used by our opponents to make the U.S. seem unfair, yet again.
McSally also called for China to shut down the gross “wet markets” where exotic live animals are slaughtered for sale and consumption:
China’s wet markets are disgusting, inhumane, and dangerous, leaving humans exposed to an array of deadly diseases. Given the interconnectedness of today’s world, these markets not only pose a risk to Chinese citizens, but to people around the globe, including Americans.

I don’t see how anyone could object to that…
