Media implodes over ICE detaining man driving wife to deliver baby – then the truth comes out

The mainstream media absolutely flipped out when it was reported that ICE detained a man who was driving his pregnant wife to deliver their baby.

They were arrested when he stopped for gas, and the media reported it as a complete outrage:

And now we know that this guy was charged with a very violent crime:

Venegas said the couple came to the U.S. 12 years ago from the central Mexican state of Guanajuato. While they do not have legal authorization to live in the U.S., she said all of their kids are U.S. citizens.

ICE said in a statement issued Saturday that Arrona-Lara “was brought to ICE’s attention due to an outstanding warrant issued for his arrest in Mexico on homicide charges.” Arrona-Lara remains in custody pending removal proceedings.

Apparently he was charged in Mexico with a murder. But the media portrayed him as a simple family man who happened to be illegal. Now, he hasn’t been proven guilty yet, but even if he wasn’t, he’s still here illegally. When you have more than 11 MILLION illegal aliens in a country (and that might be a conservative estimate), there are going to be some family tragedies like this one when we enforce the law.
