John Bolton frustrated Megyn Kelly a bit tonight with his singular focus on the current state of Iraq, as she wanted to discuss the legitimacy of the criticisms Obama has been getting for allowing all of our gains in Iraq to vanish. Bolton told her that was ‘irrelevant’ at which point she pushed even harder, suggesting that some would think he’s dodging the question because he was part of the ‘lets go into Iraq’ crowd (which if I remember was the majority of Republicans and Democrats).
Andrew McCarthy did discuss where he felt Iraq went wrong and why he’s not sure that keeping forces in Iraq would have prevented this.
