NEW: The Parkland killer sought help before shooting and was DENIED. But sure, blame Dana Loesch, #MarchonNRA

The murderer who shot up a school in Florida needed help. And the state did not provide it. That’s the latest development in the tragic story of the horrific school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school early this year.

You probably remember that right after the shooting, CNN put on a show trial where they convicted Dana Loesch and Sen. Marco Rubio for the shooting. You will also recall that every minute since the shooting there has been a frenzy among liberals and the press to also convict every law-abiding gun-owner in America of wanting children to die.

In fact, right this very minute, there is a protest underway in Washington outside the NRA headquarters, which you can follow on the Twitter hashtag #MarchonNRA.

But you won’t find any protest signs objecting to the failures of the police, the state, and the education system among these protesters, who use the dead children for their political objectives. They don’t care who failed the students at Parkland.

They don’t care about preventing future shootings.

They only care about taking away your guns.

From the Daily Beast:

A new report found Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz asked school officials for help months before he allegedly gunned down 14 fellow classmates and three adults—but the school district “did not follow through.”

That failure by school officials was singled out in a court-ordered report released Friday into the school district’s handling of Cruz’s behavioral issues. While more than half of the report was redacted, the blacked-out sections of the document could still easily be read by copying and pasting into a separate document, a trick used by The Sun-Sentinel to release the unredacted report on Friday.

Among the conclusions in the report, authored by the Collaborative Educational Network of Tallahassee, are two glaring instances in which Broward school officials failed to act in accordance with laws governing the treatment of students with disabilities.

From the Orlando Sun-Sentinel:

But “two specific instances were identified,” the report says, where school officials did not follow the requirements of Florida statute or federal laws governing students with disabilities.

Those instances:
— School officials misstated Cruz’s options when he was faced with being removed from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School his junior year, leading him to refuse special education services.

— When Cruz asked to return to the therapeutic environment of Cross Creek School for special education students, the district “did not follow through,” the report reveals.

In part because of the errors, Cruz had no school counseling or other special education services in the 14 months leading up to the shooting on Feb. 14, the report says.

From the Daily Wire:

…the shooter was identified at age 3 as having developmental delays and was “reportedly stripped of counseling services and left to fend for himself as a ‘regular student'” after the school district failed to inform him that he “was still entitled to special assistance at Stoneman Douglas if he chose to stay.”

Months after the school district failed to act on his request for help, the shooter dropped out of school and immediately purchased the rifle that he would use to carry out one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.

Dana Loesch didn’t fail the students at Parkland, and neither did Marco Rubio. But you know who did? Everyone in the liberal establishment. The government. Over and over and over again.
