The internet is being stupid again because no one reads or checks video after being outraged by a stupid misleading headline. No, Karl Rove did not call for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment this morning on Fox News, but that’s what you would think if you read certain websites.

Now, I realize our readers dislike Karl Rove, but there’s no need to lie about what he says. Here’s what he said:
Now maybe there’s some magic law that will keep us from having more of these. I mean basically the only way to guarantee that we will dramatically reduce acts of violence involving guns is to basically remove guns from society, and until somebody gets enough “oomph” to repeal the Second Amendment, that’s not going to happen.
He said the only way to GUARANTEE there’s no more gun violence is to take all guns away. And he says that’s not gonna happen. After that he talks about other ways this tragedy could have been prevented.
So everyone calm the hell down and quit jumping to stupid conclusions. There’s enough to rage about without having to make stuff up.
