I really like the way that NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre simplifies the story of Fast and Furious as a case of the Obama administration trying to make reality match the narrative that 90% of guns responsible for cartel violence in Mexico originated from the United States, all so they can make a stronger case for their assault weapons ban. And when it comes to the media uncovering the truth behind this story, LaPierre says that the national media should take down their logos and replace them with Obama bumper stickers because they are so committed to his reelection that they could care less about this story:
