According to Robert Laszewski, the only people signing up for Obamacare so far are older people who generally speaking are a sicker population. He says what Obamacare hasn’t proved yet is whether it can sign up people who are younger and healthier which is a must in order to maintian a decent risk pool.
Also, he agrees with the numbers put out by the administration on how many have signed up for Obamacare. However, he points out when you put their numbers in perspective that it’s really only about 10 percent of the uninsured that have signed up which isn’t that good of a number.
