While trying to explain the embarrassingly stupid sentence in her Green New Deal FAQ about getting rid of farting cows, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admits that it will mean total control of the government over Americans’ lives.

“In the deal, what we talk about is … that we need to take a look at factory farming, period. It’s wild,” she told hosts Desus Nice and The Kid Mero on the premier of their show’s first season on the network.
“And so, it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re going to force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that. But it’s to say, listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real,” she continued.
“We have to take a look at everything.”
This is pretty typical of Ocasio-Cortez – she makes an absurd exaggeration about what Americans do in order to set up a strawman argument about what government needs to change and control. And then follows it up with an insane but vague threat of totalitarian government control.
But, as I have said before, at least she’s being honest. The batcrap insane steps she outlined in her FAQ are what you would have to do if you actually believed in global warming. Other Democrats pretend that recycling and banning straws will do it, but that just doesn’t make sense given what they believe about it. So good for her – Americans need to know just how insane these people are.
