House Speaker Paul Ryan released ANOTHER statement on the controversy between Donald Trump and the Khan family about Muslims in the military.
Here it is in all it’s vague and obscure glory:
Paul Ryan’s latest statement calls for honoring the Kahn family but notably doesn’t mention Trump https://t.co/C9gZcye415

A religious test for entering our country is not reflective of America's fundamental values. I reject it. pic.twitter.com/DdsYj2XoLS

Poor guy can’t win!! Trumpers are assailing him for daring to disagree with their Donaldian demi-god, and anti-Trumpers are stomping on him for not denouncing the Donald enough!!
Here was the very short statement he had put out last night:
Meanwhile, el Trumpo’s dumbest surrogates are marching out to defend him, including Scottie Nell Hughes who said that his cheating on his wives was the “sacrifice” he made for the country, and Boris Epschteyn who thuggishly blundered through feigned outrage that someone “insulted” Trump. At least Ryan hasn’t debased himself to the point of defending the comments, he just won’t unendorse Trumpy.
