Planned Parenthood lawyer ADMITS illegally receiving evidence from DA in Daleiden case

What do you know. Turns out Planned Parenthood was illegally conspiring with the DA to prosecute The Center for Medical Progress journalist David Daleiden for exposing their selling of baby body parts for profit:

CBN NEWS – Bombshell new evidence exposes illegal activity by the Harris County District Attorney’s office and Planned Parenthood in their case against pro-life journalist David Daleiden.

Instead of finding the abortion giant guilty of criminal charges, the Harris County grand jury indicted the pro-life activist. He was charged with tampering with government records and using fake identifications to purchase fetal tissue.

In the latest twist in the case, the Thomas More Society reports that the court records show Planned Parenthood attorney Josh Schaffer admitting under oath that the DA’s office shared documents and evidence with Planned Parenthood.

The Texas Attorney General’s office had forbidden them from doing so. The declaration was included as part of the DA office’s response to Daleiden’s motion to quash the indictment against him, alleging prosecutorial misconduct.

Schaffer admitted that he and Assistant District Attorney Sunni Mitchell went against the Texas attorney general’s instruction not to share raw video footage with Planned Parenthood.

“I was told that the Attorney General’s Office agreed to give it to the HCDAO on the condition that the HCDAO not give it to PPGC. Mitchell told me that she would try to obtain the footage by other means,” Schaffer said.

“The recent filings by the Harris County District Attorney confirm that the DA shared confidential documents and information with abortion provider Planned Parenthood, colluding with it in the prosecution of David Daleiden,” said Daleiden’s attorney, Thomas More Society Special Counsel Peter Breen.

“These filings also include evidence that appears to show that the DA’s office worked with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to undermine the Texas Attorney General’s independent investigation of that abortion provider,” he continued. “The conduct of Harris County prosecutors in this case is outrageous and illegal. We look forward to pressing our motion to quash this indictment in court.”

I hope they do quash it. Daleiden should be awarded for what he did, not prosecuted.
