As some of you have seen lately, DISQUS has been having problems.
For some reason the comments just completely disappear and then later re-appear, and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks now. They may fix it eventually, who knows…but I’m really starting to wonder.
It’s been suggested that we change to a new commenting system because DISQUS seems to be getting worse. So now I’ve created a poll for you to weigh in:
There are pluses and minuses to switching commenting systems. But the biggest issue to me is what you want.
I haven’t researched it in a while but I know there are several other good commenting systems out there. Fox News uses Spot IM, for example. I’ve used Livefyre in the past. If you want me to switch and have a suggestion of one you’d like me use, let me know in the comments below.
