Ralph Peters on new Obama revelation: “That’s as low as any president in our history has gone”

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, like many of us, aren’t surprised by the new revelations in Former Defense Secretary Bob Gates’ new book. But he does find some of them troubling, especially the revelation that Obama never believed in the war in Afghanistan and yet he still allowed our troops to die and get maimed on the battlefield. Peters says that is as low as any president in our history has ever gone.

And there’s more. Watch the full segment below:

  1. Obviously if Gates really felt that way, he had the moral obligation to speak out at that time. He should have resigned. Apparently his objective was simply to make more money

  2. The Keystone Cops at the NSA allowed Snowden, a low-level nobody, to steal over 1.7 million documents that show what the NSA is trying to learn from their spying activities and where the gaps in their knowledge are, and then lied about it.

The ATF screwed-up and allowed guns to walk into the hands of Mexicos drug cartels causing the death of Americans and hundreds of others, and then lied about it.

The State Department screwed-up the security in Benghazi, Libya, which got the Ambassador and three other Americans killed and then lied about it.

The administration exposed Seal Team Six as the group that killed Obama bin Laden, then had rules of engagement that prevented an attack helicopter from protecting the Chinook carrying 22 members of team six that died.

Census numbers faked and then lied about it.

Unemployment number manipulated and then lied about it.

The IRS was caught targeting conservative NGOs and then lied about it or took the fifth

The so-called Justice Department was caught spying on news journalists and then lied about it.

The HHS totally screwed-up the roll all of the biggest new social program (Obamacare) in 80 years, and then lied about it. The following people were fired or forced to resign:

I believe only 2 Generals were fired under Bushs 2 terms total. There are currently 48 4-Star Generals.

    NOTE:

General Carter Ham was relieved due to preparing a group to rescue those at Benghazi.
Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette relieved due to attempting to get his carrier group is position to assist the rescue attempt.

The word from the situation room was that Valerie did not want a democrat “Mogadishu” screwup on Obama’s record before the election.

Many of these below have spotless records, 25 and up years service, many medals and honors such as Brig. Gen Bryan W. Wampler and Command Sgt. Major Don B. Jordan.

In addition: 157 [ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN] Air Force officers

  3. Dear Leader is a traitor, however, a close look at FDR’s actions would bring him into the running. He gave lots of support to Stalin and the commies, and didn’t do anything to bring home thousands who were captured by the reds and sent to the gulag, slavery, torture and death.

Similarly, he was happy to surrender all of E. Europe to Stalin (and the resulting tyranny, torture and death) vs. following his generals’ priority to attack Germany from the underbelly. He rejected that in favor of attacking through France, and even when they were closing in, FDR stopped our troops to allow the Soviets to capture Berlin.

Democrats have been our greatest threat to liberty.

    1. FDR also ordered the St. Louis away from America during WWII and ship full of Jews were returned to Hitler.

    1. presidency is no place for affirmative action – Peters touched on a good point, “Obama never paid his dues..” No, he has no clue how little he knows, but the foreign policy and economic ruin (and ACA) prove his understanding of reality, capitalism, realism, is less than zero.

  4. I still like the main plot point of Starship Troopers, you have to be a veteran to have the right to vote and be called a citizen.

  5. Gee, when was Peters reborn? Usually too PC (like a lot of the upper brass) for my tastes. Good to finally see some push back from the military! I thought the ROE changes and subsequent increased death toll in A-stan would have lead to this earlier…Definitely the worst Commander in Chief, ever!

  6. All that matters to Obama is “I won”. And apparently all that matters to Gates is being on the New York Times bestseller list. If he had any respect for this country he would have resigned and made this public when it happened.

    1. Exactly what I thought when I heard this…I’m sick of these people in high places not pushing back…are they afraid of ending up in a ditch? Hmmm seems this administration is capable of doing just that. Still, I won’t buy Gates’ book.

      1. career military enlisted and commissioned thru OCS. The senior leadership of themilitary has abandoned their mission to advance their own careers. Look at the CJCS Dempsey, little more than a politician in in uniform. Almost all Flag grade officers will sell out their men for the glittering stars

  7. I wonder if there are any other juicy tidbits in that book. Like maybe on the Osama Bin Laden mission?

  8. Obummer is going to write his own memoirs and title it ” My Life as Your God” Contact Bill Ayers for ETA.

  9. #1 Obama could care less about these “revelations”, no one will challenge him! #2 why did Gates wait to bring all this crap out? Money? You bet he waited for money, so I blame him too!

  10. No respect for Gates at this point. He has remained silent and let good young men die. He should have resigned and sang it from the roof tops how horrible this president is. That said it does mean that I do not believe what his book says about the president. But I for one would never buy his book and he has no honor.

  11. When are people going to come to the realization that Obama isn’t a legitimate president. He’s a fraud, and people keep acting stunned about what he’s done to the military. These ROE under him, are simply a way of killing them.

Robert Gates is a pig. Why didn’t he leave with honor and tell everyone about Obama and Biden, instead of waiting to profit from a book. Patton was a general, no one with any character would have ever worked for someone named Hussein in America. That’s not American, George, Thomas, John, is American, Barack Hussein is out of the third world. It’s insulting to this country. It’s not American, it’s Middle Eastern, and I wish he would go back. Muslim/Marxist fraud.

    1. Real Americans already know this…..but the low information voter, welfare saps, unemployment takers (please, 2 years is enough!), da hood, liberals lunatics…..just buy what Barry says is true! Not one has a combined IQ of 20!

      1. That’s why the draft needs to return. Until these LIV and youngsters have to defend this country they will continue to take it for granted.

  12. I started serving under Nixon and left under Reagan. Was at the tip of the sword as an enlisted and later an officer in the infantry. I’ve never seen the degree of disrespect and apathy from a WH towards the military. That’s quite a statement considering the Carter years.

What saddens (and enrages) me the most is the apparent lack of concern/courage/smarts of the Repubs to do anything about it.

    1. I served under Johnson and MacNamara in Viet Nam. This doesn’t come as a surprise to me at all.

    2. The repugnantcans are hacks who treat the marxists like big brothers who they aspire to emulate. They are useless in every sense of the word.

    3. How many of the Congress Critters ever served? IMO the Constitution needed to include MANDATORY ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE of at least 8 years.

  13. “Peters says that is as low as any president in our history has ever gone.”

He sounds like a sports commentator.

I can think of none lower (name one) when it comes to my brothers in arms.

    1. Bob Goodlatte is to busy with his amnesty Kids Act to bring forward Articles of Impeachment. Priority of the GOP = amnesty. To hell with our laws, Constitution, veterans and military. And for that alone, they need to be fired.

  14. I agree with Peters’ characterization of obama as thinking he can do anything better than anyone else. That describes the insufferable, snooty arrogance of obama very well.

  15. Sounds like Gates is trying to excuse/repentance his willful following Obuma’s destruction of America. Not to mention all of the blood and treasure Gates helped to waste. Literally and figuratively not buying it!

  16. Gates has simply reaffirmed what common sense Americans already knew
Exposing an incompetent Chicago south side street organizer while he is still in office.
Obama continues to blame, point his finger at everyone but himself for his own failures. Obama uses politics to frame every question and every issue, simply for his own political gain.

  17. Obama despises the military and from what I’ve heard the military doesn’t like Obama any more than he likes them. God bless and protect our military.

  18. Obama is afflicted with NPD and is incapable of caring about anyone but himself. Americans who are hurt by his policies are “bumps in the road” as he marches America toward his fundamental transformation!

  19. Agreed obama has stooped pretty low, but I’ll bet he’ll stoop even lower before it’s all said and done…he’s just that kind of person!!! He loathes our military and he’s not too fond of many things that has made America great, so he’ll figure out some new way to lower his already abysmally low standards of conduct!!!!

  20. Awww, what a patriot is Mr. Gates. Way to wait a year after the election to reveal what anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together already knew about Maobama.

That said, looking past that he TOOK a job to work for what WE all knew was a military-hating commie, WHY did he STAY on when he saw what this man was doing? Forget the politics, he was SENDING MEN AND WOMEN TO DIE knowing he didn’t care one way or the other about the mission!! This goes beyond anything we as Americans have EVER seen in a Commander-in-Chief. This is HARDCORE evil. Satan is SMILING at what this man is doing and what he has done.

How could ANY man (or woman) with an OUNCE of love for this country, and for the men and women who VOLUNTEER to put themselves in harm’s way to protect our liberty, CONTINUE TO WORK FOR THIS MONSTER???!!!

I’m sorry for “shouting” – but this pi$$es me off as little else has — despite the fact that none of it is AT ALL surprising! And isn’t THAT something, too? The fact that most of us here don’t find such EVIL to be surprising in the least.

Lord Almighty, please, please, PLEASE help us.

  21. History will record Obama was thug whose main goal was the destruction of America’s military and capitalistic society. Also note, that 3 out of 4 Americans killed in Afghanistan occurred under his watch.

Obama in 2009 said hes deploying 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan to help stabilize Afghanistan and disable al-Qaeda (yeah, that’s been a great success). But our fearless leader also made a declaration to the world on our timeline to begin withdrawing forces by July 2011 at the same time of announcing the surge – see below:

Obama Says Afghan Troop Plan Vital to National Interest: Video

    1. Hillary Benghazi Clinton is no different then Pinocchio , when it comes to the military , I remember when bill was in office and how they treated our military then .

      1. Absolutely; she’s as bad as Obama on the military and her hand’s are drench with the blood of brave Americans who served their nation proudly in Afghanistan.

      2. From what I’ve heard, Gates drools over Hillary in his book. I have to wonder if this isn’t a ploy to disconnect Hillary from Obama and Benghazi.

  22. What’s lower is making our guys train the same people who make up the same groups as those who attacked us, attacked the USS Cole, attacked our bases, attacked our embassies, who have killed their brothers in Iraq and Afghanistan and killed 4 Americans who were abandoned in Benghazi. What’s lower is giving the same bastards weapons and training. What’s lower is not ‘believing’ in one war, yet in Iraq going ahead and demoralizing our troops while they were there, telling the enemy when they’d be leaving, and giving them a chance to lay low, gain strength, train and come back with a vengeance and make the country as bad as what it was before our troops went in…. in essence making every drop of shed American blood over there worth what obama?
Now doing the same damned thing in Afghanistan, what’s lower than making ROE’s that are killing and maiming our troops, paying jizya for the privilege and then cutting their benefits and screwing them when they come home.
oh crap I could go on and on, but I don’t think anyone cares or this ass never would have been re elected in the first place.

    1. You’re singing our song with perfect pitch.
I can’t express the depth of my disgust for everyone, in any office, who allows this to continue without making any attempt to right the evils.

    2. I don`t think it`s that the general public does not care, but rather they are not aware. The left has been able to control the dialog, and consequently, we have a commie wahabbist sunni muzbro Fraud as Our CIC. Time and Truth however, are on Our side….

      1. The left and the leftist media control as well as the so-called “teachers” in classrooms and colleges re-writing history.

    3. AmericanDuckie, I hope you don’t mind my mentioning, but when a moderator uses curse words, we know we’ve got problems.

I know it’s been said before, but I will say it again. We have to get it into our heads that Mr. Obama could not care less about the U.S.A., its soldiers, its armed forces, its history, even the very people who make it so wonderfully successful.

All he cares about is Barack Hussein Obama. Period.

In my view, he has betrayed the American people by serving himself rather than them.

To me, this sounds very much like another person we know about, namely, Judas Iscariot. He betrayed the man who he thought would become a king and to whom he presumably gave his loyalty because, ultimately, he was in it only for himself.

        1. Lurkers and lurker might be good substitute words to consider… I`m big on substitute words for cussin`

      1. I will not defend the cussin`. However, I feel in my Heart, I can tell ya for SURE…Duckies` loyalty is with Our Lord and Our Troops ! ! ! Peace be with you

  23. My wife watched Good Morning America this morning (blasphemy!) and they were pulling choice parts out of the book to make Shrillary look good – kind of like some counter point to FNC’s reporting. I have no doubt that there is bias on both sides in their reporting… but I bet the ‘bad’ points greatly outweigh the ‘good’ points in that book. We shall see.

    1. The question that needs to be asked is why is Robert Gates being so kind to Thunder Thighs? Is he bucking for a slot in her administration come 2017?

  24. Hemmer: “…serious new questions raised about President Obama’s military leadership…”

Serious -yes. NEW – not hardly.

But don’t worry. This will all be dismissed after the WhiteHouse is done explaining how this is just an old, white, bitter-clinging racist.

The only time Obama would think “time spent with Generals and Admirals” as well spent is when he’s saying “You’re fired”.

That seems to have happened way to much in the last 5 years.

  25. Does not surprise me in the slightest.

Obama is the typical liberal. An arrogant know-it-all who looks down at everyone else, even people who are experts at what they do. Thinks he’s the smartest person in the room, even when he’s the most clueless.

Liberals have nothing but contempt and disdain for the military, and are dangerous when in charge of national security.

    1. The only time Obama is the smartest person in the room is when he’s alone – and then he only takes second place to the broomstick.

  26. Obama is surrounded by people who not only have never served in the military, they have disdain for it.
Obama is surrounded by people who not only have never worked in the private sector, they have disdain for it.

  27. …the TRUTH will set us all FREE , especially from the TYRANNY that is trying to be inflicted upon us by the administration of President Barack HUSSEIN Obama . This Memoir is just another nail in Obama’s legacy .”

    1. Exposing the Fraud on a daily basis, shines an ever brighter light for the Truth…Hang in there Liberty, and keep your Faith Strong…You are NOT alone….
