Rand Paul told Eric Bolling that he thought Paul Ryan had misled Trump on how much support their “Obamacare lite” bill has. Boling called it a lie, but Rand said it was more accurate to say he misled him.
Again, this is very odd, given that Trump is supposed to be the best negotiator in the galaxy. Did Paul Ryan pull a fast one on the best negotiator in history and he not know it? It sounds more like Rand Paul is making excuses for Trump, knowing that he can’t outright criticize him.
This way, he drives a wedge between the house speaker and the president, in hopes that Trump will eventually fall against the bill. Either way, this division is a result of Trump making a lot of promises during the campaign that he wants the Republicans to now fulfill…
And it doesn’t help that Ryan has already insulted Rand over this isssue.
