Remembering the four Americans who died in Benghazi

There’s another terrorist attack we remember today on 9/11. It’s the 5th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that took the lives of four brave Americans:

  • U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens
  • U.S. Foreign Service Information Officer Sean Smith
  • Former Navy SEAL Glen Doherty
  • Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods

These are the men, some of whom were under attack for hours, that the Obama administration chose not to rescue. That fact simply cannot be ignored.

But I don’t want to dwell on that on this anniversary. I’d rather remember these men that gave up their lives in service to this country.

The video below is the Dignified Transfer of their bodies back to the US. I found it to be quite moving. And don’t worry, while they are seen in the background, neither Obama nor Hillary speak in this video.

This video is a short segment by CNN on each of these men who were killed in Benghazi:

May these four brave Americans continue to rest in peace and may our American leaders never again leave our men behind.
