Yesterday we reported that ABC News was going after the whistleblower who accessed footage of Amy Robach even though they didn’t know if this person was the one who leaked it to Project Veritas:
1. Scoop: ABC News execs believe they know who the former employee is who accessed footage of @arobach expressing her frustrations about her shelved Jeffrey Epstein story
That former employee is now at CBS and ABC execs have reached out to CBS News execshttps://t.co/OHEoyahppY

Well it looks like ABC News got their retribution because Ali is reporting this morning that CBS News has already fired the whistleblower:
5. Update: Two sources familiar with the matter tell me that CBS News has fired the staffer in question. This comes after ABC informed CBS that they had determined who accessed the footage of Amy Robach expressing her frustrations about the Epstein story. https://t.co/OHEoyahppY

So there you go. ABC News destroyed the career of their whistleblower but the Trump ‘whistleblower’ needs to be protected at all costs.
Here’s a little Twitter reaction…
Looks like two media outlets conspired to retaliate against a whistleblower. Meanwhile, they’re claiming Resistance talking point that merely identifying Ukraine leaker — even though he’s protected from retaliation— is unacceptable. Interesting. https://t.co/WqQgMRLbA6

Some whistleblowers (like those who reveal a years-long corporate cover-up of a notorious pedophile) are less equal than others. https://t.co/Mrgiwgnatz

Not only have most networks ignored this major story about ABC News killing the Epstein story years ago, but now CBS News has assisted ABC News in punishing the person who allegedly exposed it. https://t.co/LFm7jBaibZ

Suddenly the media has no problem going after whistleblowers https://t.co/fRjwBiTT6O

I guess it’s cool to retaliate against whistleblowers now. https://t.co/P0FJjOmV0y

Holy shit. Rather than addressing the Robach-Epstein story head on, ABC News is not only burying it entirely, but they’re also getting help from their competitors. Insane. https://t.co/UrSojNb08r
