Sarah Palin on what’s next: “We can’t just preach to the choir”

Breitbart has an exclusive Q&A with Sarah Palin. Here’s a portion of it below where she discusses what’s next for her in terms of the country:

1. What’s Next?

Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.

Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC. DC is out of touch, obviously. Voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart have come out strongly against the “go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins. We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side. And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant.

As far as long-term plans, the door is wide open. I know the country needs more truth-telling in the media, and I’m willing to do that. So, we shall see. And always in the center of it all I have an awesome, full, exciting, and large family living in a very unique part of America that keeps me hopping! I love it!

  1. Awesome, intelligent, home girl with a record of success as a public servant. And she did it w great parents who taught her right from wrong, instilled values and the importance of responsibility. And hell, she didn’t even go to Yale or Harvard and she’s not a man! God bless you Gov. Palin. I am one of many who has your back.

  2. You ROCK, sister! May your voice be amplified! The movement of strong conservative voices towards the “new media”, along with a growing cadre of the like- minded inside the Beltway, gives me hope that the re- Revolution is beginning!

  3. “[Palin’s] ability to see “over the hill” to what is really important, what really matters, is what sets her apart.”

    – Steve Bannon

  4. Not predicting the future here – but I will say this:

If Sarah goes and does for the 2014 election what she did for the 2010 one, then there will be more conservatives in Congress who have, like Sen Ted Cruz, experienced the Sarah Factor in their wins.

The more of them there are, the less power the GOP will have over them.

And politics being what they are, this would be the best preparation for her to run in 2016, seeing that she’ll have the support of those whom she successfully supported.

    1. How about the “Capitalism Party”? And then really reclaim the word from the Left’s false narratives.

    1. Obviously YOU DO or you wouldn’t be here commenting.

Afraid of busting up the corruptocrats are you? Too bad. They are going down.

          1. I do. Just think too many people think Sarah is the voice of the party but she is better than 95% of the GOP.

  5. We The People , need to “Primary” every Establishment Politician , make them spend the $$ where it hurts them.
    Term Limits , a must.
    Lobbyist are OUT!
Now is the Time , Americans.

        1. I’m watching key votes for ABinC for the Constitutional Freedom Party so I’m takin’ names on who supports and who opposes in the Senate up for re-election in 2014!

      1. Ted Cruz has experienced the ‘Sarah factor’ during his own nomination fight, and he has thanked her publicly for her support.

There will be more in 2014 …

        1. Saw that, follow him on Twitter! Now if Sarah ramps up quickly, there are lots of vulnerable Senates seats coming due in 2014!  Let’s repeat the Cruz and Palin factor!

  6. Thank YOU

    **************Thank YOU

    **************************Thank YOU

This is EXACTLY what I have been saying

Finally – My message is getting through

    I love you Sarah!

  7. “We delight in those who underestimate us.” There’s a quote for we the people who the RINOS have taken for granted. I’m all for taking them by surprise.

  8. RS, thanks for posting the excellent interview with the Governor.

    The long march continues.

May G_d continue to bless Sarah Palin and her family.

  9. Somehow I don’t see her future as being in politics. She has the brains, the charisma, the talent, and the beauty to be the Rush Limbaugh of TV, if that’s what she wants. Rush is probably the most powerful conservative voice in America. If Palin is smart, she could be the same thing, only on TV. She only needs the right platform for it, and she may get it if she sticks with Glenn Beck. She could become an even bigger force in conservative politics. We just have to see what program she’s going to be on in order to achieve that goal.

    1. Read the interview.

Apart from Beck betraying her confidences, she will not be joining GBTV. That would be preaching to the choir.

For the next two years she will be getting out the message through various outlets, along with speeches and rallies.

After that, whether she sets her sights on a Presidential run, or decides to pursue her options in the media, time will tell.

    2. TV? You must be joking….Glenn Beck is irrational. And Limbaugh has never ran a city, state or anything else in Government. Gov. Palin’s talent belongs in the public servant arena not interviewing people. Puleeezzze.

  10. Quite frankly; It is one of those rare moments in human history when so much dpends just on ONE PERSON.

In the previous century it was Ronald Reagan. But he was not alone; he had the support of other three equally powerful people: Margaret Tatcher, Pope John Paul II and less know but equally reliable, the Western Germany’s Chancellor Helmut Kohl.

Today we have just one; Sarah Palin but perhaps even more powerfull than them.

She is like Gandalf from Lord Of The Rings; This time roaming the cyber world in a nearly total secrecy and building the coalition of the GOOD PEOPLE to fend off the EVIL.

  11. “The problem is that some on the Right are now skittish because of the lost 2012 election. They shouldn’t be. Conservatism didn’t lose. A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008”

    God bless this woman.

    1. Romney DID win in all the states that require photo ID to vote. Curiously, B.O. won all the states that did not….

    1. Aside from the one faux pas when he attempted to profess to beliefs he couldnt back by saying he was” severely conservative”- I dont think any one of us thought he was any more to the right…. than a moderate.

With the Alternative being über progressive, Constitution shredding, Barack Hussein Obama, even though i’m not a Romney fan by any stretch of the imagination- I have to say I voted for him.

  12. Great interview. The Lady is fired and rarin to go. Now the fun begins and the sparks will fly. Folks now have a leader!

IMHO We, Sarah, the internet and the younger generation are the answer to this corrupt government gone wild in DC. Technology should be our source of strength and to carry our voice.
I was personally touched by the death, by his own had, of Aaron Swartz due to his fight to keep the internet free from the government’s control. Anonymous has decided to revenge his death, this is quite powerful stuff. Today’s Technology is baffling to me, I’m still amazed at the picture on the TV screen, heck the victrola amazes me.
So glad Sarah is going to be fully engaged with US 2014 and beyond I hope.

  14. I think what she said that we can’t preach to the choir is correct and again she cannot do it alone. We all have to do our part, whatever that may be and not let her to do it alone.

    1. In 2010 Joe Scarborough said this about her.
“In the past month alone, she has mocked Ronald Reagan’s credentials, dismissed George H.W. and Barbara Bush as arrogant “blue bloods” and blamed George W. Bush for wrecking the economy.
One can only guess what comes next on Palin’s bizarre road show. Maybe the publishing world’s favorite reality star can keep drawing attention and selling billions of books by spitting on John Wayne’s grave or “manning up” by shooting an American bald eagle.”
      Read more:
But he called her a natural and praised her to the skies in 2012.
Now he’s bagging on her because Fox opted out of renewing her contract. He says he’s not a rino that he’s more conservative than anybody on Capitol Hill.

  15. She may be pumping up for an election campaign starting with a country-wide tour that gets the message out. It’s obvious she’s talking about expanding the message to reach more than ‘just the choir’.

I think she will run for 2016, if nobody else steps up, but that she may prefer someone else to take the slot while she promotes it in the media. Either way, it is good. I think she would make a great candidate, but I also think she could push the message better than anyone out there, save for Mark Levin. Who better to go toe-to-toe with the LameStream than Sarah Palin?

However, she is saying we, you and I, also must take up that banner and fight the LameStream wherever they show up, whenever they lie, and however they attack. Tooth and nail, face to face, toe to toe, the Breitbart way – That’s what we must do to this present day media. That’s the way to win.

    That’s our near term goal.

    1. She will step up again as a leader and provide much-needed focus and direction for the tea party peeps. Barky is shoving as much through before 2014 as he can because he knows it is over and impeachment is on the horizon.

      1. I’m inclined to agree with you there. She will be a force, no matter what she does. When the American people, as a whole, finally realize that they were bamboozled about Palin, there is going to be a lot of crap kicked up in the liberal ranks.

As to Obama, watch for the Supreme Court on Feb 15th. That case being seen by them on Barry may be a killer and the start of the downfall.

        1. If I understand correctly, it will be in closed-door conference. I fear it never sees the light of day or there has been so many payoffs that a true SCOTUS decision will never be handed down again.

          1. Ooh, that’s a bummer. Let’s hope we at least hear something about it. All this openness and transparency of the Obama administration is just killing me.

  16. A lot of the ““go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins” are politicians who believe that if they give the Left everything that they want, that they’ll inevitably fail and cause disaster (which is true), and that THEN they will learn, once and for all that they were wrong.

This is a totally misguided approach. Even after the failure of Communist Russia, Nazi Germany, Communist China, and North Korea (and others) – They STILL advocate Communism as their ‘ultimate ideal’. The Left will happily see America burn, and then when everything is turned to ashes, they’ll turn around and say “You know, we should try Communism. Karl Marx was right all along.”

The only approach that should ever be taken with the Left is: Resist resist resist! And then resist some more.

    1. 100% correct observation. They (the communo-fascists and other PARASITES) are like a tapeworm; The more you feed IT the bigger and more destructive IT grows, until IT entirely destroys it’s carrier, in our case the democratic human family.

One of the greatest strategist mistakes the DEMOCRATIC HUMAN FAMILY has made in the XX Century was to give the PARASITE the status of a legitimate participant in the democratic process.

Thus the one PARASITE plus one/tenth of IT’s caretaker can outvote the HUMAN OF SMART AND HONEST WORK and steal the results of his or her work under the cloack of legality.

The SUPER PARASITE b. HUSSAIN obama and his TAPEWORM female companin Michelle, genuinly believe that the results of both phoney and defrauded elections where they managed to hold to as a tini and as artifical “majority”gives them a permanent licence to steal and enslave the productive part of the HUMAN FAMILY.

Needless to say that no civilised argument can sway the PARASITE to give IT’s PARSITIC life up freely.

After the fall of communo-fascism in Eastern Europe, the PARASITES continued the plunder of the wealth of the people without any interruption.

So will b. HUSSAIN obama and his PARASITES if they aren’t stopped by ANY means.

God Bless America. God Bless sarah palin.

      Bogdan from Australia

      1. Don`t forget about islamic infestation & UN Agenda 21, two more Real Threats to Liberty and Freedom. Being from Austrailia, I`m thinking you are aware of such. Peace be with you….

  17. I like what was there, but it seems like there surely was more to it than just three questions.

    1. Sarah Palin’s complete speech in Indianola, Iowa – Sept 3, 2011…WATCH and your “Missing Questions” are MORE than answered….
