Sixteen states sue Trump over national emergency and HERE’S the full list…

Fifteen states have joined California in their lawsuit over Trump’s national emergency and the news is making waves.

None of you will be shocked by this however, but I thought you’d want to know which states are involved in the lawsuit:

  1. California
  2. Colorado
  3. Connecticut
  4. Delaware
  5. Hawaii
  6. Illinois
  7. Maine
  8. Maryland
  9. Michigan
  10. Minnesota
  11. Nevada
  12. New Jersey
  13. New Mexico
  14. New York
  15. Oregon
  16. Virginia

Not really any shockers on the list.

They are claiming in this lawsuit that Trump is violating the separation of powers:

The group of states, led by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, filed the lawsuit in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

“We’re going to try to halt the President from violating the Constitution, the separation of powers, from stealing money from Americans and states that has been allocated by Congress, lawfully,” Becerra told CNN’s Kate Bolduan Monday.

It’s ironic. I don’t remember any of these states challenging Obama when he lawlessly passed DACA, which actually was illegal because it wasn’t based on any statutory law.

But when lawfully Trump declares a national emergency – based on actual statutory law – they all go nuts about it.

Hypocrites!
