Here we go again.
In-N-Out just made a huge contribution this week to the California GOP and now triggered libs are so upset they are calling for a boycott of the restaurant on social media:
NEWSWEEK – Popular fast food chain In-N-Out Burger is suffering a PR crisis after it was revealed it had donated $25,000 to the California Republican Party.
Uncovered by reporter Gabe Schneider through a public filing, In-N-Out Burger made the donation on Monday. “In-N-Out added a new item to their secret menu,” Schneider wrote, along with a photo of the filing.
The move has not gone down well with In-N-Out’s customers. On social media, the hashtag #BoycottInNOut has already started circulating. “This really bums me out because I’m a regular customer… But I cannot spend money with a company that supports the current GOP,” one Twitter user wrote.
“In-N-Out Burger is financing the Republican Party, time for a boycott,” said another.
Some people were confused, but ultimately got on board. “Are we just boycotting random things now? Ok, sounds good… let’s go to #BoycottInNOut now me fellow Texans. But really I do think #BoycottInNOut should be a thing, I’ve seen way too many popping up here in TX.”
In-N-Out burger did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Not everyone bought into the boycott, however. “Best burgers period. Who cares what political party they donate to, I’m gonna go have me a great burger now and see what scripture I get on my soda cup. Nice,” someone wrote in response to Schneider’s original post.
Many say the decision is not a surprise given the chain prints Bible verses on its packaging.
Here’s what some are saying under the #BoycottinNOut hashtag:
Et tu In-N-Out? Tens of thousands of dollars donated to the California Republican Party... it’s time to #BoycottInNOut - let Trump and his cronies support these creeps... perhaps animal style!https://t.co/9zkdFaG5CJ— EricBauman (@EricBauman) August 30, 2018
@innoutburger looks like my family and I will be boycotting your restaurants from now on. You donate to the @GOP, that means you stand with Trump and all his bigotry. #ShameOnYou! #BoycottInNOuthttps://t.co/79wo1kNvxW— SIMON_LEFISCH (@simon_lefisch) August 30, 2018

The party's over, @innoutburger. You're off the menu.
And you WERE our go to for 🏈 Sundays. After making us wait for YEARS!
Unless you cough up at least 25K for Oregon Democrats...then we can talk.
Mmmm... tastes like racism & bigotry.— ℳáʂ ㄈɑղíʝɑ (@Mas_Canija) August 30, 2018
Bye In-N-Out #BoycottInNOut
LOL! There are tons more where those came from.
As Newsweek points out, though, not every lib is on board with the boycott:
Sorry I will never #BoycottInNOut I dont care who they donate to. Chick Fill A sucks so I dont care but I wont go along with this one.— Darrell Owens (@IDoTheThinking) August 30, 2018
Of course they like the CA GOP, they proselytize on all their food with hidden bible versus. I can live with that. https://t.co/gycCs12Xlf
These are much harder to find amongst all the liberal tears, but they are out there.
So just like Chick-Fil-A, I recommend that if you have an In-N-Out Burger in your neck of the woods, eat lunch or dinner there today or this week. Patronize the place in order to counter this dumb boycott. Also, as it is pointed out, they have Bible verses on their packaging. Enough reason alone!
