“The left would like their slaves back!” – Candace Owens defends Kanye West

Turning Point’s Candace Owens was on Fox and Friends this morning, discussing the firestorm of backlash she’s gotten after Kanye’s supportive tweet about her.

Watch:

Kanye, who has endured his own backlash, is said to have doubled down by local radio station hosts who interviewed him. They report that he says he loves President Trump and even dissed former President Obama:

Rapper Kanye West this weekend professed his “love” for President Trump and complained that he “couldn’t get anything done” with former President Obama, according to a radio host who interviewed West.

In the interview above, Owens defends West as an independent thinker. She also hits back against those who point back to his infamous comments about President Bush not liking black people, pointing out that even she was a liberal just two years ago and that people evolve.

At the end of the interview Owens is asked what she’s learned through all of this. She says clearly that “the left would like their slaves back”, arguing that blacks are ideological slaves and this is proven by just how big a news story this became over a simple Kanye tweet.
