John Bolton got a pretty great quote and so he’s repeating it during every interview he has. But it’s a good one – “the Obama era of American foreign policy is over.”
Watch him explain it to dim-wit Sean Hannity:
Is it really over though? There’s a really interesting article about Democrat hawks who were disappointed by Obama’s dithering, and are impressed with how quickly Trump took action. BUT, if that’s all he does, if he stops at the “message” to the world, I wonder how long that is going to go. We’re already seeing North Korea challenge American hegemony, who else will follow, and how will Trump respond? While this was definitely a good first step to reassert the respect for American power around the world, I wonder if Trump is going to continue it reasonably.
