Trey Gowdy PISSED that Congress won’t do more to get Benghazi emails that Judicial Watch is clearly getting…

Trey Gowdy calls the email by Ben Rhodes a ‘compelling piece of evidence’ that shows the White House was more interested in ‘spinning their policy’ than they were about telling the truth to the American people. And while he says this email confirms the suspicions of Congress that it was the White House pushing the ‘video’ narrative, Gowdy is clearly upset that Congress (read ‘Boehner’) isn’t doing it’s job to get these emails that a private entity is getting:

But Bill, Congress didn’t get this email and that’s the point that I would stress to you and your viewers. This email came because of a court action by a private entity. After 20 months, Congress still doesn’t have all the emails and apparently we’re not willing to do anything to force the administration to give us these emails.

How many more emails are there like this? And is it going to be another 20 months before we get those?

He elaborates more below:

Americans who have a cents worth of reason can not be surprised by this documents. It’s a crime that Judicial Watch was able to get these documents but the US Congress was not.

How long can we be told our elected officials ignore us, our beloved Constitution is being torn to bits, our freedoms eroded and our Republic turned into a Socialist state?

How long will we endure being called racists for every disagreement with a president who daily conducts himself more like a tyrant?

How long will we let the news media take sides and ignore their sacred trust? We can’t stand this forever. It’s coming to a point where all it will take is a spark. I believe they may have narrowly avoided just that out at the Bundy ranch. Divide and conquer is brewing discontent and outrage.

You know, Ryan, if you’re being blackmailed (as you imply), you walk away from the job and let someone else take the field — if you’re a decent man in the beginning. No. Boehner is without honor and scruples. He is more to blame than those who declare their colors because he took the role of opposition and proceeded to join the other side. That might be true, but when you look at the House Leadership, can you point to one who has the integrity and moral fortitude to call for a ‘special select committee’ with the power to subpoena and the power to begin the ‘Articles of Impeachment’ process against the first African American President?

Obama doesn’t need dirt to deal with these feckless GOP leaders.

I think the reason they are susceptible to Obama’s intelligence apparatus is because of their lack of integrity. That’s why Obama has them by the stones. If Boner and the leadership were clean they couldn’t be blackmailed. Remember Petraeus.

Conservator1

I’m in no way disagreeing with you, in fact one could add Cheif Justice Roberts to the list. That being the case, doesn’t changed the fact that the House’s leadership are feckless cowards who will not stand up to a president who’s corruption has no bounds.

I just learned that Speaker Boehner won’t appoint a special select committee until he has proof Obama was involved. It’s not a gigantic leap of speculation to conclude that if his Press Secretary and a few senior advisers received this email, Obama was briefed on this brazen effort to hide the truth from Congress and Americans 2 months before the election.

Feckless and cowardly is too generous of description of these schmucks in leadership clothing. And I’m somewhat ticked off at the GOP today. wink

ryanomaniac

“I just learned that Speaker Boehner won’t appoint a special select committee until he has proof Obama was involved.” Really? That idiot said that? Good grief. You can’t get that info unless you have the select committee. Also, he should know if he did get that proof there would be no need for a select committee at the point. What a joke.

I do think though that they are blackmailing a lot of people. Citizens, media and judges and politicians and only God who else. Its a powerful thing when you have someone’s inner most thoughts on tape. The NSA and CIA have absolute power and if someone put a bit in those guys mouths and grabbed the reins they could destroy everything about you. Its scary to me.

Yesterday I simply posted, “If this isn’t grounds for impeachment, I don’t know what is among the RINO leadership in the House.” I believe that’s what Gowdy was referring to when he spoke about the House’s Leadership. Let me expand my thoughts; when I learned about the emails, I didn’t need Krauthammer to tell me it was a smoking gun. To prove conspiracy charges, you need to prove that more than one person was involved (the video false narrative). Ben Rhodes sent this email to White House officials David Plouffe and Jay Carney. Ben Rhodes and David Plouffe were senior advisers to Obama and Jay Carney is the White House Press Secretary. That’s a conspiracy to hide the truth of the terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 by inventing a false trail that a video caused people to riot who just happen to attack our Consulate. We know… Read more »

Sharyl Attkinson had an interview with Beck this morning and said that another point that isn’t getting any attention is that the “protests” in Egypt took place hours & hours before Benghazi started and everyone knew then that threats against other No African embassies had been made. Yet they still took no action to remove personnel from Libya. Any personnel in Libya. Many hours of lead time just wasted. This is why that bum Zero could take his fat head to bed and rest easy. Impeachment must come from Congress but you raise an interesting question about dereliction of duty. There won’t be a change in GOP leadership until voters get more pi$$ed than was Rep. Gowdy today! And frankly I’m so p’ode that I say to H with the Party. Even Gowdy tiptoes around the immigration issue, if not actually endorses amnesty — and that’s the smell test, imo. Anyone who subordinates the best interests of its citizens in favor of illegal trespassers is placing corporate (read that $) interests (read that self-interest) above the interests of the American people. The globalists are on the march, inexorable and ruthless. And so far we’ve proven that we’re their pawns.
