Trifecta: Sarah Palin, Allen West, and Jesse Kelly

Sarah Palin is the prime interview here, discussing yesterday’s election results in Alaska between Joe Miller and Lisa Murkowski. Later on they bring in Allen West and Jesse Kelly. An interesting moment was when Palin was asked about her support for McCain after criticizing Murkowski for having that entitlement mentality that comes from incumbency. She sticks to her guns, suggesting that he has become a better conservative and that since she supported him for president, why wouldn’t she support him now.

Also, this is the first time that West has had the opportunity to speak to Sarah Palin since she endorsed him. He basically thanked her, but I thought that too was an interesting moment.

Enjoy!

  1. If the Repubs get the congress back it will largely be because of the efforts of Sarah Palin and everyone will know it. Given that, she has the White House in 2012 if she wants it.

  3. Dittos…

Yes, Sarah Palin, the “LADY with the Servant’s Heart” has an uplifting “high note” effect on politicians, doesn’t she?

And Sen. McCain, in addition to honorably taking credit for bringing Palin to US, McCain should publicly thank Palin for bringing the Arizona part of US to him.

  4. Greta Van Susteren had Dana Perino on and they were discussing Palin. Greta was saying that every time she as been to Alaska she doesn’t have a team of experts/advisers around. It is just her and Todd.

That is one dangerous team (that’s a compliment).

Anyhow, the Washington Post has an interactive Palin Endorsements Tracker which is pretty cool.

Right now Palin has endorsed 20 winners of 30 picks with 12 left that are upcoming or have no primary.

  5. Yup, McCain can go out on a high note supporting the first female President cutting spending, supporting the military, and he can take credit for bringing her to us.

  6. Great interview, looks like three very solid conservative candidates, while I’ve always been impressed with Allen West, I was very impressed with Jesse Kelly seems like a very bright, articulate and qualified candidate. I haven’t heard much about Joe Miller but from what they showed of his campaign ad he looks very good as well.

  7. Sarah Palin is “kingmaker”…

Palin says that McCain has “evolved” during this, his last election, to be “… a fighter for conservative principles. … He’s seen the light… .”

    Yep…

Palin is a “kingmaker” and if she is elected POTUS IN 2012 (… hopefully), when President Palin says jump, Senator McCain will be expected to ask “how high, Madam President.”

    Yep…
