El Presidento-electo Trumpo finally heard about Rep. John Lewis calling him an illegitimate president, and not surprisingly, he ain’t too happy about it.

Here’s what John Lewis told Chuck Todd yesterday, referencing the Russian meddling plot:

People are pointing out that Trump chose an awkward time to attack John Lewis, as he is widely considered a Civil Rights hero, and it’s Martin Luther King Jr. weekend [except in Biloxi and the rest of Mississippi apparently]. On the other hand, you can’t just proclaim the guy inviolate forever, and let him say whatever he wants without allowing people to disagree. On the other other hand, Trump immediately goes for the insult, when John Lewis is one of the few guys in politics who can actually lay claim to doing a LOT about the Civil Rights cause decades ago.
I have the feeling this is just the beginning of the Democrats’ plan to proclaim him illegitimate without proving their case. But then, he’s not really eager himself to prove it by rational aargument either, is he?
