It looks like Donald Trump could lose a state that hasn’t vote for a Democrat for president in over 50 years:
New poll finds Trump +1 in AK, a state that hasn't voted for a Dem since 1964, & narrowest margin since then was R+9 https://t.co/wZDoH7ZINh

MIDNIGHT SUN – New polling numbers provided exclusively to The Midnight Sun by the Alaska Democratic Party show Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in a statistical tie in The Last Frontier.
The poll was conducted by Washington D.C. based Lake Research Group from October 11-13 and surveyed 500 likely general election voters. According to their website Lake Research Group has done work for former President Bill Clinton, Vice-President Joe Biden, and dozens of congressional and senate Democrats including former Alaska Senator Mark Begich.
The results show Donald Trump with a one point lead. That is well within the 4.4% margin of error.
Here are the survey results:
Survey conducted by Lake Research Partners from October 11-13 of 500 likely general election voters in Alaska.
Clinton………………………………………………………………… 36%
Trump ………………………………………………………………… 37 %
Johnson ……………………………………………………………….. 7%
Stein…………………………………………………………………….. 3%Margin of error – 4.4%
Those results show significant movement from the same survey conducted between August 9-14.
August 9-14th poll of 500 likely voters:
Clinton………………………………………………………………… 30%
Trump ………………………………………………………………… 38%
Johnson ………………………………………………………………..11%
Stein…………………………………………………………………….. 2%Margin of error – 4.4%
Now before you start yelling that this poll is from the Democratic Party, here’s another poll taken in early October by a Republican outfit (according to RCP) that shows a very tight race as well:
Just like the Democrat poll from August, Trump was leading significantly in September. But now his lead in October has fallen to within the margin of error.
This is a bad sign with only three weeks away from election day.
