Twitter accused of shutting down #DNCLeaks of damaging email release by Wikileaks

Nearly every time someone wants attention from social media they accuse Twitter of shutting down their cause, both left and right, but in this case there seems to be some real evidence that they’re suppressing info from a release by Wikileaks that can damage the Democrats.

From the Washington Examiner:

Twitter lit up Friday night with allegations that it tried to suppress news that secret-leaking website Wikileaks exposed thousands of emails obtained from the servers of the Democratic National Committee.

Friday afternoon, users noted, “#DNCLeaks” was trending, with more than 250,000 tweets about it on the platform. By Friday evening, it vanished completely from the site’s “trending” bar for at least 20 minutes. It returned as “#DNCLeak” after users erupted, though it was too late to quell their rage.

One note – IF they did it, it’s underhanded, but it’s NOT taking away anyone’s First Amendment Rights. Free speech has to do with the government taking away your right to say something, NOT a private company like Twitter. You have NO Constitutional right to use a private service like Twitter – please don’t make this kind of stupid ignorant accusation when stuff like this happens, it really dumbs down the conversation.

ANYWAY! The #DNCLeaks info could seriously damage the Democratic Convention which starts this week, especially if Bernie reacts to the overabundance of evidence that the DNC was actually colluding with Hillary Clinton’s campaign to undermine Sanders. It’s getting pretty exciting!!!
