I didn’t even know “Transgender Day of Remembrance” was a thing and now I see Trump’s own Secretary of State is acknowledging this nonsense?
NEW: Sec. of State Rex Tillerson releases statement on Transgender Day of Remembrance, honoring "the memory of the many transgender individuals who have lost their lives to acts of violence." https://t.co/Za20Saz6QP pic.twitter.com/oKNvGZYiM8

Here’s the official statement:
This is ridiculous. No person should be subject to or lose their life to acts of violence. Period. We don’t need a day of remembrance for this.
But if we’re going to do this, then where is the Christian Day of Remembrance? After all 26 Christians were just massacred in a Texas church. Don’t they deserve a day of remembrance?
What about a day of remembrance for the victims of Islamic terrorism? Remember San Bernardino? Chattanooga? And more recently, New York City?
This could go on and on but I think you get my point.
