UGH: Welfare recipients getting over $30k per year in some states

Special Report featured a Cato Institute study tonight that found more people are staying on welfare these days than accepting jobs because it pays better. In fact, in at least 12 states, they report, welfare recipients can draw around $15/hr which equals $31,200 in benefits per year. In Hawaii that number almost doubles.
