It’s taken forever for the US to take Kobani seriously. Last week they finally ramped up their bombing attacks in conjunction with intel from the Kurdish fighters on the ground to begin to make a real difference in the fight.
Now the US is airdropping weapons and medical supplies to the Kurds in Kobani to help them continue to hold Kobani. Not only that, but Turkey is now, finally, allowing Peshmerga fighters from Northern Iraq into Kobani.
