Chris Cuomo got himself into some trouble tonight with the LGBT community after his response to Kamala Harris when she told him and the audience her pronouns. First, here’s the video:
Kamala Harris: "My pronouns are she, her, and hers."
Chris Cuomo: "Mine too"
Kamala Harris: "alright"

Cuomo quickly jumped on Twitter and begged for mercy with the following apology:
PLEASE READ: When Sen. Harris said her pronouns were she her and her's, I said mine too. I should not have. I apologize. I am an ally of the LGBTQ community, and I am sorry because I am committed to helping us achieve equality. Thank you for watching our townhall.

Here’s a few of the triggered responses Cuomo saw when he got on Twitter…
Really, @ChrisCuomo? Kamala Harris was trying to show solidarity by saying her pronouns are "she, her, hers" but then you made it into a joke, saying, "mine too." @CNN he should not be part of this Town Hall. These issues aren't a joke.

@ChrisCuomo – you were off base and offended many when joking about gender pronouns of she/her/hers as "mine too" in response to Kamela Harris' statement on her own pronouns. No bueno. Wrong place. Wrong time. Do better. #EqualityTownHall

@SenKamalaHarris Thank you for clearly identifying your Pronouns tonight as she/her/hers. I have to say that @ChrisCuomo’s flip comment saying “mine too” was simply offensive. Being addressed by an individuals Pronoun is not a joke or punchline. @HRC
