WATCH: Dan Crenshaw explains why socialism doesn’t work – in one minute!

Rep. Dan Crenshaw has released a short video explaining why socialism doesn’t work. Take a look:

This reminds me of the very arguments Mark Levin would make against the socialist healthcare system Democrats have been trying to foist on America for years, how it would remove incentive for doctors to innovate and thus ruin the greatest healthcare system in the world.

We always think of greed as a bad thing, and excessive greed certainly is bad. (“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.”) But the notion of trying to improve your station and that of your family is at the heart of working, and it alone is great incentive. As Crenshaw said, that’s basic human nature and socialism goes against that nature.

Levin also pointed out how making healthcare a ‘right’ makes slave of an entire group of people, which is essentially what Crenshaw was pointing out when he said that socialism forces people to work. When you make something like healthcare a right, someone has to provide that service because it’s now a ‘right’. And if no one wants to do it – well someone has to do it! And the government must see to it that they do. And thus you end up with a crappy healthcare system and a crappy everything else that socialism touches.
