WATCH: Jeff Sessions comes out swinging HARD at Tommy Tuberville

Jeff Sessions has come out swinging at Tommy Tuberville, accusing him of viciously attacking President Trump, and clearly trying to put some polling distance between himself and Tuberville:

In the tweet accompanying this video, Sessions said “@TTuberville you can’t stand with somebody if you’re constantly chop blocking and cutting their knees out from under them. You’ve chop blocked Trump on trade, immigration and veterans – all areas where @realDonaldTrump has led strongly and deserves support, not condemnation.”

I’m not a veteran and therefore I don’t have any first-hand experience to suggest whether the VA has gotten much better under Trump or not. There has been quite a bit of focus on it from Trump over the first three years, with Trump signing into law several VA bills and record budgets. But did that result in a better VA? Apparently Tommy Tuberville doesn’t think so and he blames Trump for it. Sessions, however, vehemently disagrees and said he needs to apologize to Trump.

What do you think? Is Tuberville’s argument at all reasonable or is Sessions right, that he went too far?
