WATCH: Mike Lee RIPS Paul Ryan over comments on Obamacare replacement

Senator Mike Lee was on CNN today discussing the Obamacare replacement bill in the House.

During the interview, Wolf Blitzer played Paul Ryan’s comments from earlier today where he suggested that conservatives are getting 85% of what they want in this bill and that the bill is built the way it is because of the rules in the Senate.

But Mike Lee didn’t agree with Ryan’s assessment at all, pointing out that conservatives are not getting even close to 85% of what they want, and that Ryan is wrong about the Senate rules and shouldn’t even be worrying about them because it’s not his job.

Watch:

Did you see how passionate Lee got during this interview? I sense he’s very frustrated with this Obamacare replacement process and it’s good to see.

As Lee went on to say, the Obamacare replacement would be a much better bill if all three phases were in one bill. Lee says he believes the House leadership is overstating their case when it comes to the Senate rules, that far more can be done under the Senate rules than they are admitting.
