A man called into Rush’s show this week and left Rush speechless and emotional after offering to donate a lung if he needed one:

Interestingly enough, we didn’t get to hear the caller make the offer. After the caller made whatever point he was making, he told Rush that he wanted to talk to him.
Rush, believing the caller just wanted to ‘grease the skids to get in again’, transfers him back to Snerdley. During the break Rush asked Snerdley what the man wanted and in the opening of the next segment revealed that the caller wanted to donate a lung.
Rush was speechless and clearly emotional, saying that once again his listeners had stopped him dead in his tracks and he admitted that really didn’t know how to respond.
