WH responds to N. Korea threats to cancel summit – [VIDEO]

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said this morning on Fox and Friends that the White House is still hopeful that the N. Korean summit will happen, but prepared to keep up the maximum pressure if it doesn’t:

Look, as the president has said time and time again, we’re ready to meet and if it happens, that’s great. And if it doesn’t we’ll see what happens.

We’re still hopeful that the meeting will take place and we’ll continue down that path. But at the same time, we’ve been prepared that these could be tough negotiations.

The president is ready if the meeting takes place. And if it doesn’t, we’ll continue the ‘maximum pressure’ campaign that’s been ongoing.
