Another terror attack happened in Jerusalem today where a car slammed into pedestrians, injuring five of them. Fortunately no one was killed, but the Muslim attacker shot and wounded by a security guard:
JPOST – At least five people, including four female border police officers, were injured on Friday morning when a car rammed into a group of pedestrians standing at a light rail station in east Jerusalem.
Police are treating the incident as a suspected terror attack.
Two of the injured policewomen were in moderate condition and three were lightly wounded. They were evacuated to local hospitals in the city.
Police said the driver veered from the road onto the sidewalk, before getting out of the vehicle with a weapon, attempting to stab passersby. He was shot and wounded by a security guard.
Of course, Hamas celebrates:
Islamic Hamas movement said in an emailed statement Friday that the vehicle attack by a Palestinian driver in Jerusalem was a response to Israel’s crimes.
“Hamas blesses the attack and believes that it is a natural response to the crimes of the Israeli occupation against our people,” Sami Abu Zuhri, spokesman of Hamas in Gaza said in the statement.
