After MSNBC shows get the AXE, Ed Schultz Show continues with terrible ratings

I think Ed “talk radio slut” Schultz might start packing his desk pre-emptively because MSNBC seems to have it in for low-rated news shows. Just last week they axed both Ronan Farrow and Joy Reid’s shows, while the Ed Show continues its craptastic run through the bottom rung of cable news ratings.

From Mediaite:

With just 34K viewers in the 25-54 demo Friday afternoon, MSNBC’s The Ed Show nearly tied its yearly low of 32K from late last month. In his time slot, Ed Schultz trailed Fox News’ The Five (328K) and CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer (203K) by large margins.

The Ed Show also came in third place at 5 p.m. in total viewers with 456K, behind The Five’s 2.058M and Wolf Blitzer‘s 488K.

Hey MSNBC if you want a show that might get some ratings, give me a call. I have more followers on Twitter than Schultz has in that prize demo!
