Afterburner with Bill Whittle: Somebody else has been doing it for Obama his whole life

Bill Whittle explains why Obama doesn’t recognize when someone else actually does build a business on their own:

Barack Obama said something stunning. He thinks that government is responsible for private sector success, not individual initiative and hard work. This doesn’t surprise Bill Whittle, who reminds viewers that Obama was surrounded by socialists growing up, and even started his political career in the living room of a radical, violent socialist.

    Nicely laid out presentation.

Now if we could only get ABCNBCCBSCNNWALLSTREETJOURNALNYTIMES off the side of the milk carton…

  • Joe

    Again I say –

    Bill Whittle for VP

or anything he wants to be

He would knock the snot out of anyone in a debate

    • HarrietHT2

I was thinking the same: Bill Whittle for VP.

  • MaroonRepublic

    That was spooky.

    Obama may be the devil.

    • sDee

Evil is at play – no doubt.

  • If you don’t know who “Sunny” is, take a couple minutes to check her out. She has a brilliant knack for mocking stupidity. In this video she mocks Obama’s “you didn’t make that” assertion in a way that is so easy to understand. I don’t think this is OT, and I can’t make a better rebuttal than she did to this whole stupid notion that nobody can make it on their own. Just watch this.

    • MaroonRepublic

Good stuff Sunny but the government doesn’t even build the roads. We pay the government thru taxes and the government bid the jobs to private sector contractors who then build the roads. So the government are like pimps in a way.

      • What came first, government-built roads or the machines and manpower and taxes required to build them that originated in the private sector?

How did the first asphalt company come into existence without a government road to make it happen?

The whole thing is a cunning “chicken or the egg” distraction that is working as designed.

The one thing that concerns me is, Obama isn’t acting like he is worried about losing this election, and he should be if any of our past election scenarios can hold water.

        • sDee

“”The one thing that concerns me is, Obama isn’t acting like he is worried about losing this election””

This goes directly to what Whittle asks at the end: “Who did it for him, and why?”

Obama was placed in the White House. We all know that – even McCain. He was to have 8 years to complete an irrecoverable Cloward-Piven style collapse. That was his mission and he performed exceptionally well in 3 1/2 years if you look at his record. No one ever planned that so many Americans would wake up to the marxists and take back our House in 2010. They failed to censor the internet and Obama cannot be blamed for that.

What should concern us now is what a cabal so powerful that it could install a radical post-American Marxist in the White House, has planned for us next. And, what Romney knows of it. That is why we must not let our guard down for even a moment, until America knows the answer to Bill Whittle’s question.

          The enemy is still within.

          • freenca

            Well said, sDee!

          • keyesforpres

It’s my understanding that a democrat named Hastings from Florida, who had been removed from the bench on ethics violations, and then had fools elect him to Congress, snuck funding into the stim-u-less bill for 5 detention camps around the country.

Combine that with O and Hillbilly trying to sign an agreement with the UN to take away our guns..then remember that a guy infiltrated the Weather Underground in the early 70’s and at one of their meetings they talked about killing about 25 million of us.
….along with o doubling and tripling visas to muslim countries…shutting down 9 border checkpoints….just read yesterday that it is speculated that if he gets back in he is going to really open the floodgates on immigration, which will totally destroy us…well, I think I get what they have planned for least for white America.

          • capelady

We need to vote out the RINOs in Congress. The only way we will ever confront what is wrong in America and restore our republic is with a CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTION, like the one Newt Gingrich led in 1994!!

        • keyesforpres

A Spanish company, partly owned by Soros, is going to be counting the votes in about 900 precincts across the country.

          • k9style

That’s what worries me. Another one of their great commie hero’s (Stalin) said…

“It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.”

        • Rshill7

Let’s have this debate Donald. It’s pertinent to the two dueling ideologies here. Individuals don’t like to have credit taken from them. If you have a great idea and your boss takes credit for that, do you like it? Appreciate it? I don’t think so.

If you got straight A’s and the rest of your class did mediocre at best, would you like it if the teacher gave you all C’s instead? Yeah, let’s have this debate.

Those who started their business, risking everything, including the roof over their heads, who worked 16 hours per day trying to get it off the ground. They’ll crawl across broken glass, swim through hot flowing lava, span gaping chasms in a single bound, and drag ten others with them, to make absolutely, unequivocally certain, that the man who would steal from them, not only their money, but the credit due them for all of their hard work, gets a message in return. A message that he, his kids, his grand kids and their grand kids can read about, while our kids, grand kids, and their grand kids, try to pay that tab.

Let’s have that debate, until DC either freezes over, or thaws to the truth and wisdom in our founding.

        • capelady

Well, you could read something sinister into Obama’s apparent lack of concern… or you can just attribute it to his Narcissistic Personality Disorder! I do think he is a little bit worried that Romney is out-raising him in recent months and he has stepped up the pace of his fundraisers (already way out of line with former presidents)… and when you are asking people to donate to your campaign instead of giving birthday and wedding gifts… that appears a little “desperate”. And he sure has gotten gray…

        • NYGino

“How did the first asphalt company come into existence without a government road to make it happen”
How about unpaved roads, you know, like the ones that were used for thousands of years. Think of human progress. First a trail then a wider trail then a bunch of people over a long period of time cleared land by muscle power then the roads were widened and where appropriate and useful people built communities along those roads.

Government had nothing to do with this progression. It was the ideas, determination and conclusions drawn by people that this would be beneficial and hard work that creates these things. Government then steps in to capitalize on achievements and takes credit.

Like Reagan said, we would prosper if government would get out of the way.

      • keyesforpres

LOL. Perfect analogy! I guess that makes the politicians the prostitutes.

      • hbnolikeee

and of course the bid is handed to the contractor that kicks back enough in campaign contributions.

  • AllantheK

Hmmmmh. Plain truth. As bright as the shining sun. Who will see?

    • sDee

We see…and one person at at time we can make others see. It is hard. It creates more enemies than friends. It is difficult and painful for people to face this ugly truth and admit that one’s reality is but a manipulated illusion.

The truth shall set you free, but first it will make you miserable.

    • Nukeman60

      I see.

      Then one other will see.

Then another. Like a miniscule isle in the vast openness of the sea. Like a tiny candle in the great darkness of space, soon to be lit up with billions and billions of stars. Like a tiny ripple in the ocean, growing ever larger and larger, until it crashes off the shores of incompetence we call liberalism like a terrible tsunami.

      Bari Obami, Vote Tsunami

      • Rshill7

I really like this Nuke. Very, very good.

  • pistol pete

I’m about halfway through ‘The Amateur’ by Edward Klein.Without exception, everybody who’s ever helped Obama has been betrayed. From the white grandparents who raised him and sent him to the best private school in Hawaii,to those who arranged a free ride through college to those who put up the money to get him started in politics,to Jeremiah Wright, who taught him how to speak black, they all are thrown away when they are of no further use to him.

    • Joe

HMMMM! – Just like a sociopath

      Starting to make sense now?

      • pistol pete

I live in Illinois.I knew who he was and what he was long ago.His palace guards in the media just weren’t interested.

        • NYGino

Whittle has a great term for this…..”criminally negligent press”

    • 12grace

That’s why they call them “useful idiots”. Speaking of UI’s I wonder if oprah is going to vote for obama this time around…

      • pistol pete

I read last week where Orca was going to interview the chosen One and his brood mare for her magazine. She also did an interview with George and Laura Bush. She lost most of her TV audience when she went all in for Obama and told Sarah to piss off. After her show was cancelled she tried to start her own network, which is tens of millions in debt. She’ll probably still vote for him if she votes at all. After all that,Valerie Jarrett told her she was not welcome in the White House.(Mooch is extremely jealous).

        • 12grace

P, you gave me a good laugh. Thanks, I needed that.

    • capelady

That is because the left has no conscience or moral values. They are godless and their ideology is their true religion, which is based on relativism. The ends justify the means, which is why every attempt at utopian statism in the 20th Century ended in millions of people being executed, because eventually they have to eliminate those who disagree with them because utopian statism requires conformity (from the “masses” anyway). And the deaths of millions are reasonable to them because it allows them to advance their agenda. The problem is that these people ignore history and human nature. Utopian statism cannot ever succeed no matter how many opponents they kill. They cannot fulfill the promises they make of the better world that is just over the horizon, but never quite arrives. In every system, their promise of equality is that the ruling elite are wealthy and live in luxury and the masses are equal in their misery. This is our future with Obama and his ilk and I hope and pray there are enough Americans who still treasure our national heritage, culture and Constitution to send him packing in November — and never allow anyone with that mindset in our White House again!

      • warpmine

What percentage of population in 1770’s fought the revolution? It won’t be easy this time around but it can still be done successfully. We know one thing for sure about the left, they are cowards when confronted by truth. They suddenly find a convenient way to hide their agenda or misspoke or suddenly have everything sealed.

        • capelady

I think it was only about 1/3 of the colonists who supported the Revolution. And you are absolutely right about them being cowards… the biggest problem we have is that getting rid of Obama is only the beginning. The left has made every effort for decades to institutionalize their agenda throughout the bureaucracy, so if Romney is not willing to disband ideological agencies like the EPA and start over, these radical leftists are civil servants and we will not be rid of them for years! The sad thing is that we know what to do to fix what is wrong with America, but we don’t have enough truly conservative leaders in Washington to get it done while there is still time. They are either intimidated by political correctness, or more worried about being reelected than doing what is right for America! The RINOs have got to go, along with the socialists!

          • warpmine

Kudos I could not have worded it better.

          • white531

Yet again, capelady, you are on the cutting edge of the problem that we face. How do you turn around a ship in the ocean that is headed in the wrong direction? Very, very slowly. What everyone has to understand, is that like it or not, the Progressives are in control right now. We have a Socialist President who the media supports 100%. We don’t enjoy that media support. We have to look to ordinary, working class Americans for support. It will take time and patience to regain control of what is basically a Conservative nation. But it can be done. A little faith in God wouldn’t hurt.

      • white531

capelady, they are in charge of educating our children. They ignore history and human nature because they desire to. It does not fit their agenda.

      • pistol pete

That is as thoughtful a definition of statism as I have ever read.Thank you.

    • warpmine

      Textbook useful idiots.

  • Army_Pilot1967

Just when I think I can’t dislike obama anymore than I already do, Bill Whittle gives me new insight into what has crept into the White House…and I add a few more things to me List of Reasons to Dislike the Foreigner in the White House. Thanks, Bill.

    • Joe

He was never vetted like he has been in the last month – It’s just starting

Look at this about Moochelle >>>…0.0…1c.EiQpHx9B0ro&pbx=1&fp=1&biw=1503&bih=942&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.,cf.osb&cad=b

      Did you know about this?

      • Army_Pilot1967

No, Joe, I wasn’t aware of that, but it’s not surprising. After all she’s only been proud of her country once in her life, and I still think about that quite often. Nothing about either one of those two is surprising to me….disappointing perhaps, but not surprising.

        • Joe

This has been around for quite some time BUT

I just found out it two days ago from a friend

          HEY! – LSM – HELLOO !

Is anybody in the studio ??

          • Army_Pilot1967

Nope, they’ll just continue to cover for him and his family. I just don’t get it. The media is complicit by not doing their “objective vetting” of obama when he was a candidate, yet they raked McCain over the coals time and again. I gave up on the LSM years ago and obviously so have millions of others.

        • NYGino

If you’ve known anything about these two anti-Americans, why would you be disappointed? I’m disappointed in the people who voted for him. We will get rid of him in November but we still are left with a lot of people who don’t have a clue. We will still be left with a Marxist educational system and a Marxist press. We have a long fight ahead of us, but this country has always been fighting for our principles and with every victorious battle somehow we get stronger.

      • keyesforpres

Yes, I knew about this before the election. It got scrubbed from the internet heading into the election. Then, after o usurped the presidency, it magically reappeared.

        • Joe

Zero and Moochelle is one spooky dude and dudette

          • keyesforpres

            Yup. They’re a match made in he11.

  • sDee

“Who did it for him, and why?”

Thank you Bill Whittle for laying out the lead-in to one of the most important unanswered questions in our history.

If we could lay bare that truth, we may have a chance again at a free Constitutional Republic.

Something tells me Mitt Romney knows – as do many others in our political class. This too will come out, and when it does they will have no excuse for either not knowing, or for failing to tell America.

    • keyesforpres

O is a Red Diaper Baby.
It turns out Frank Marshall Davis was friends with Valeri Jarrett’s grandfather.

  • PJRodman

This one is even better than usual…that, however is quite expected and not in the least a miracle. I only wish the brain dead lap dogs would listen and believe that the sky is indeed blue.

  • 12grace

As usual, Bill Whittle, is excellent.

  • keyesforpres

Hey Scoop I would like to post this on your next OT.

Everyone should email this article to their governor ( I just did).
OK is trying to pass a law on nullifying O-NO-care.
Looks like they might be successful.

    • sDee

Our guvn’r only pulls her face out of Obama’s seat long enough to take a breath, so it will not do any good. I have sent it to my Rep who actually reads his email and is appreciative to learn of these moves in other states.

  • Truth is what this is. Obama is the first affirmative-action President.

  • “Ugh. Romney is ranting right now about Obama’s statement that businesses don’t get successful “on their own.” Guess what Mitt? Bain didn’t become successful “on their own” either.” Here’s the proof: -Jennifer Granholm

Since she hasn’t learned her lesson, learned her role and shut her mouth, I’ll be posting this on her page, and see if she responds. Long ago, she learned to hate me, personally, and stopped talking to me, letting her minions bum rush me with their ineffective, en-masse ankle bite attacks. I’m sure she’ll love this video.

  • Rshill7

I just saw a picture of Barack and Michelle. Barack was saying”…and we have two daughters, Sasha and Malia…” Michelle breaks in and says, “You didn’t do that, someone else made that happen!”

    Martin Luther King says “I have a dream!” Obama…”You didn’t dream that!…”

  • That’s why I think Romney shouldn’t release any more tax returns. To heck with all of them. There are so many questions in Obama’s past that have been left unanswered by the mainstream media, it would be pointless for Romney to cater to their demands. All they would do is want more information that they are not entitled to. So to heck with him. Romney should say, “I’ll release more tax information when the president decides to release all his school records (both graduate and undergraduate) and medical records. Until them, you can all go pound salt.” I think every conservative in this country would stand up and cheer if he said that.

  • PVG

    Brilliant and timely! Thanks Scoop!

  • Landscaper59

Consider this scenario. A FREE movie with FREE drinks and popcorn for Obama voters and this message from Bill plays first. No one would believe Bill or even care. They are blinded by laziness, apathy and only care that he will take care of them. FREE FREE FREE, but not Freedom.

  • capelady

    Absolutely BRILLIANT!!

  • Rocco11

    Bill Ayres wrote his books..

  • This was my first thought when Obama made that grossly ignorant statement. He has been spoon fed and coddled his entire life. The only “job” we’ve ever heard about was at Subway in Hawaii…then we jump right to “community organizer”, aka community thug. He has clearly had an easy life provided by somebody else’s dime so it makes sense that he would project that onto society. I abhor that man more than anybody I’ve ever known.

  • white531

This may be a little off topic. I hope the Moderator is feeling benevolent this evening. I just received this from a friend who sends me stuff from time to time. I don’t ordinarily condone profanity, but this pretty much expresses the way I feel right now about our Federal government and our current situation.

Here’s a quote from a government employee who witnessed a recent interaction between an elderly woman and an antiwar protester.
There were protesters at the grocery store handing out pamphlets on the evils of America
I politely declined to take one.
There was an elderly woman behind me and a young (20-ish) female protester offered her a pamphlet, which she politely declined. The young protester put her hand on the old woman’s shoulder as a gesture of friendship and in a very soft voice the young lady said, “Lady, don’t you care about the children of Iraq?”
The old woman looked up at her and said:
“Honey, my father died in France during World War II, I lost my husband in Korea, and a son in Vietnam.
All three died so a bitch like you could have the right to stand here and badmouth our country. If you touch me again, I’ll stick this umbrella up your ass and open it.”

~ God Bless America ~ I love getting old ~

  • NCHokie02

One of the best videos I’ve seen from Bill Whittle and all of his are good. Can we not get him a speaking post at the RNC or at least play a video of his on the big screen there? We need more people like Bill.

  • And can we thank Sarah Palin for endorsing RINOs John McCain and Orrin Hatch ? Way to go, Sarah!!! We, the Tea Party, really needed two more kicks in the groin.

  • Bobemakk

Obama still doesn’t do anything himself, he uses teleprompters.

  • Jason Newman

There is an element to Obama’s speech that I have not seen brought up anywhere. After watching and listening closely to the speech a few times, becoming more incredulous every time that this is the President of the United States talking, a thought occurred to me.

If you accept that to Obama everything is about him (witness the recent speech where Obama says “I” and “me” 127 times in under 25 minutes), this speech sure sounds like sour grapes.

Obama is looking around at all the independently successful creators, industrialists, entrepreneurs, etc. (including Romney), and says, paraphrased here, “You think you work hard? A lot of people work hard. I could if I wanted to. You think you created something? I could do that too. I haven’t, but I could. You think you’re smart? Well, I am smart, too.”

It is getting even to Obama himself that the guy has never done anything of substance in his entire life. Now that he is getting vetted a little bit, this one of his responses.

    One word summary: EGO.

  • Mary_Linda

    This guy’s phenomenal.

He shows how Hussein Obama has been raised by “handlers”.

And we must stay focused and alert because these handlers
don’t want to fail in November. They are now already scheming
how to get their stooge in again – by hook or by crook!

  • Hey dumbass, those roads and bridges were paid for with TAX DOLLARS confiscated from citizens and built by PRIVATE CONTRACTORS; the government doesn’t build roads, houses, building or bridges, they are built by private corporations and citizens. This guy is such an idiot it makes me want to puke. I can’t believe how gullible and ignorant his supporters are.

  • Truth will be told!

  • nawwan

Your comments about Obama’s miraculous life are excellent….however many others have intimated these same facts but no one seems to be able to prove that he isn’t even an America citizen. It is incomprehensible that with all the data whiz kids around no one can unlock his secrets and the connections that made his mysterious life so private. I am so discouraged by him and literally pray that someone will really open the locked trunk and expose all the lies. I hope you can do so.
