Roker has a good point, and Lochte lying about the incident has made it much worse than it should have been. Americans need to understand that foreign countries are often looking for the smallest reason to criticize us – why give them the ammunition?
On the other hand a lot of people are injecting race into this debate and that seems unnecessary:
