Allen West is the type of leader that comes once in a generation. His patriotism and common sense is unequaled by anyone on the left. That is why the progressives, who constantly lie and deceive, consider him a threat to their transformation of our country. Colonel West, and those like him, are the only things preventing American life as we know it to continue to exist.

    • FiscalConservative

2013 heralds the start of our official four year mourning period for America. It’s sadder still since West, with his courage in choosing to speak truth to lies, diminished his chance for re-election. If a comparable award to the Congressional Medal of Honor existed for politicians, Allen West would have earned it.

With his new venture, I hope he can reach and inspire even more people and continue to keep America’s flame of freedom lit. Godspeed Allen West!

I have been follwing the COlnel for a very long time. Since the election, every time I see or hear this great man, it is confirmation of my decision that 2012 was the last time this life-long republican will never return to the party, send it another dime, place another phone call, or knock on another door for it.

They who destroy the leaders of free men are nothing more than minions of those who will enslave us.

  • http://no-apologies-round2.blogspot.com/ AmericanborninCanada

He wrote this on his facebook on Sunday:

“I challenge every parent and grandparent to have the discussion about the next 4 years and its impact on the next generation. Choose a topic: debt, deficit, national security, economic opportunity, unemployment, rising energy costs, tax and regulatory policy. Let’s stand up for their future and not be the first generation to leave less than what was left for us. Stand to preserve the American dream. I will! ”

These are all extremely important, and I’m not worthy enough to add to his list, but I need to add we need to teach our kids and grand kids also about what those who have and still are fighting and giving everything for for our freedom and for us. Explain and teach them what America has stood for for all of it’s history. Teach them the words of the founders. Teach them the Constitution and what it means. Those old enough to understand, show them the bias in the media and in schools against those of us who hold our faith in God and our Constitution and what it was intended so dearly for.

Yes Mr. West, I love what you’re doing, but I know you’d also agree we need to teach them “social issues” as well if we’re ever going to teach them why economic issues are important. They go hand in hand. If they don’t respect honor, integrity, sacrifice and hard work while maintaining a good character, they won’t care about the rest.

    • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

Totally agree ABC. I would only add that they need to be taught who the true enemies of liberty and American sovereignty are. Those same people are the enemies of God.

      • 12grace

        I agree with you 100%, L.

    • clockwindingdown

This brings up a very important issue. In four years there will be children, by then young adults, voting for the first time. The choices they make when casting their vote will affect us all. We can effect the out come of the next Presidential election by guiding and educating these young people, showing them that regulation and taxation are not freedom, rather slavery.

We can show them that their votes does count, and with their help we can change the direction this country is being driven. We need to help them to be informed, to question, to vote. If we will take the time and mentor our young, our direction can change. We have a major role to play, and it is not only our children but their friends and ours we need to work with. We need to get involved, to volunteer, to help with their events, to set examples, to be seen. We can create our future!

      • 12grace

Your point is well-taken, we want to raise educated children that understand the value of the vote and too, we have to fix the massive voter fraud problem that got obama elected.

  • badbadlibs

I can hardly stand to watch LTC West anymore, knowing what the voters and those who re drew his district did to that man. :(
It’s a reminder to me that America has lost her way and after watching Irvin Baxter on TBN last night….yikes almighty!

    • Orangeone

I agree on what was done to him but I also look at this as an opportunity, God’s plan for Lt Col West to work with our young people, to instill the values of this great nation, the foundation of our Constitution and how and why we their elders have a responsibility to leave them with a country better than we inherited and that they have the same obligation to the generation that follows them, that freedom is not free, that 170 million people lost their lives to dictators in the 20th century and why it is imperative to always be wary of a tyrannical gov’t.

  • warpmine

Our gift to posterity, $25 T of debt.
It’s for the children. Seriously? Is that what DemonRats claim for the children of the next generation. Like offering bags of sweets to children and telling them to have at it without ever warning them that to much will give them stomach aches.

  • notsofastthere

I have to keep in mind, although a dangerous man was elected president again, we do have many like Allen West. West and others don’t let their frustrations get in the way of continuing to bring reason and logic to anyone who will listen.
Internet has brought us an alternative media, and like the right to own guns we need to preserve the right to free speech on the internet.

  • aposematic

I agree with the economics part as Governments, no exceptions, are all about impoverishing their subjects to diminish any capacity to oppose Government oppression. What I have yet to hear from Mr. West is any mention of the number one reason why we have lost the last, present, and future young generations in the first place; the Marxists total control of America’s education system from top to bottom. Sorry Mr. West; but any “saving” of the future generations has to start with the root cause of just why they need saving in the first place.

    • deeme

I believe it’s because anyone who is articulate..Palin ,Cain, West is slandered by the media so bad..The biggest problem I have is that they didn’t articulate who would feel the Bush tax cuts expiring..Obama claims to champion for the Middle Class what a crock, his policies, regulations ,health care, taxes have caused more harm then any president ever .We will soon see the cost of this to all small businesses..I know three people who got promotions, only to be making less then they were last year..He loves punishing success , Middle Class and all..

    • colliemum

Yes – that is the root case, but I’d rather have Allen West show young people that they can stand up to those leftards, and inspire them to do so, than having him speak on talk shows about it, without anything getting done.

    • Amy

Allen West had no problem pointing out the 80+ members of Congress who openly support & advocate Marxism in spite of their innocent sounding name – I’m confident he gets it. Just screaming ‘You’re a Marxist’ doesn’t accomplish much. You actually have to get down in the trenches and start engaging the millenials and teens.

      • aposematic

I’m not saying putting a patch on a sore to help prevent infection is a bad thing. I’m just saying the patch would not be needed if the sore was prevented. There are several Conservative Web Sites directed at reaching the youth and I’m sure Col. West is welcome in that sphere. I guess I’m just disappointed a great battle tested leader has been taken off the front lines. A situation I hope is at most temporary.

        • Amy

The battle can’t be fought in just the hall of Congress – in fact (in my opinion) the current political theater is a lost cause. It’s time to go the grass roots level and it’s time to educate the young ones on what true freedom is about.

  • colliemum

I think Allen West has chosen a task which is extremely important. He knows that fiddling around with ‘modernising’ the GOP or trying to appeal to the identity group of the month will not win any elections for the GOP.

That is why trying to reach the youth especially at a time when they will fall into the clutches of the left in college and university is so hugely important.

    I pray he succeeds!

    • sDee

Like an addict, a world completely controlled by and affixed to propaganda will not give it up on their own. The truth only drives them further into the dependency of their addiction.

Counter propaganda is the only hope. It is methadone to get to the truth.

      • TexasPGRRider

The Truth is constant, that is why Jesus said: “Worship God in Spirit and in Truth”….

      • TexasPGRRider

Sorry sDee, I should have posted my comment to colliemum…I`m not arguing your point which was well made I might add….

  • http://www.facebook.com/paul.christian.942 librtifirst

Politically speaking, the youth of this country are going one of three ways. They are going liberal, libertarian, or not paying any attention. There are some who are involved in the main stream conservative movement, but take a look at the Tea Party rallies, and who is there. Take a look at republican political events and see who is there. Then take a look at Ron Paul events, and Obama events. When Romney went to colleges, the youth turnout was abismal. Even Obama rallies had fairly limited youth. The youth are interested in revolution, activism, and effecting change, if they care at all. The youth don’t want to support war parties like the dems and pubs. They want freedom. The republicans are rejecting liberty at almost every turn, other than nice words in a speech. If Alan West wants to help get the next generation involved, he had better leave the republican party and help shape the revolutionary conservative future. Bringing the next generation into the fold of the old republican guard is futile. The only age group that will stick with republicans at this point is the 80 year olds sitting in front of the TV in their wheel chairs watching Fox News.

If conservatives don’t start realizing that the republican party is too far gone to reform, then there will be no conservative come back. We are too close to the end game.

There is a lot of youth at the Tea Party rallies I have attended.

However as the culture slips into moral relativism you will see the rise of even more stringent progressive/communism and liberaltarianism.

As those in control of our government who are DETERMINED to DESTROY this “Nation Under God” accelerate at warp speed, 4 February 2013 is marked on my calander Col. West !!!!

  • 12grace

I love Allen West, he is a man of great integrity and intelligence.

If obama has his way, the next generation will be enslaved to China and the UN.

Obama lets Chinese own U.S. energy resources
Beijing acquiring major ownership in oil, natural gas across nation

The Wall Street Journal recently compileda state-by-state list of the $17 billion in oil and natural gas equity interests CNOOC and Sinopec have acquired in the U.S. and Canada since 2010.
•Colorado: CNOOC gained a one-third stake in 800,000 acres in northeast Colorado and southwest Wyoming in a $1.27 billion pact with Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
•Louisiana: Sinopec has a one-third interest in 265,000 acres in the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale after a broader $2.5 billion deal with Devon Energy.
•Michigan: Sinopec gained a one-third interest in 350,000 acres in a larger $2.5 billion deal with Devon Energy.
•Ohio: Sinopec acquired a one-third interest in Devon Energy’s 235,000 Utica Shale acres in a larger $2.5 billion deal.
•Oklahoma: Sinopec has a one-third interest in 215,000 acres in a broader $2.5 billion deal with Devon Energy.
•Texas: CNOOC acquired a one-third interest in Chesapeake Energy’s 600,000 acres in the Eagle Ford Shale in a $2.16-billion deal.
•Wyoming: CNOOC has a one-third stake in northeast Colorado and southeast Wyoming after a $1.27 billion pact with Chesapeake Energy. Sinopec gained a one-third interest in Devon Energy’s 320,000 acres as part of a larger $2.5 billion deal.

A year ago I read we have one or two Uranium mines in the US. Canada owned them, and then recently sold them to Russia. I didn’t follow up to see if sale was final, but it was approved at the time.
In Africa, China is plundering their natural resources. Our EPA isn’t the least concerned about global pollution, just preventing energy development for the US. Yes, China is buying the US with our governments approval.

      • 12grace

Yes, obama is selling us out. What kind of country will be left for our children?
