So, late last night a video dropped that everyone is talking about. It’s the aftermath of an altercation where an American Airlines employee allegedly hit a woman’s child with a stroller. You don’t see that part, but apparently other passengers did.

A video posted to Facebook Friday by Surain Adyanthaya — a passenger onboard American Airlines flight 591, from San Franciso to Dallas — shows an intense confrontation between flight crew and a handful of passengers at the front of the aircraft while it is still on the tarmac in San Francisco.
The heated moment began when a flight attendant took away a stroller from a female passenger, Adyanthaya told ABC affiliate WFAA in Dallas, which reported that the woman was from Argentina and travelling with her two children.

Unlike the morans at United, American apologized, grounded the attendant, and gave the family first class tickets. But they’re still feeling the heat today from an outraged public.
So I’m beginning to think that airline videos are a lot like police shooting videos – it’s not that these incidents are getting worse, it’s just that everyone is able to automatically record any altercation or injustice with a little magical device in their pocket.
