Arianna Huffington: How I would advise Sarah Palin for 2012

Arianna says she would help Sarah become more empathetic by taking her around America, showing her areas with 50% or more in unemployment and college kids who graduate who can’t find a job. This, she says, would help Sarah rise above the Left and the Right and find real solutions for real problems.

It’s interesting to me that she sees an ’empathy deficiency’ in Sarah Palin, because I think most people realize that’s one of her strong suits. I mean, she is like one of us, not some elitest who can’t identify with the common man. That’s why people love her, because they see Sarah as someone who will fight for all Americans, not just the ones in Washington DC. As Glenn Beck would say, it’s unlikely that she will lose her soul in DC.

Arianna doesn’t miss the opportunity to throw in a couple of jabs at Sarah, though, noting the N. Korea slip up as well as noting that if Sarah were to win, it’d likely be because people are scared and not thinking straight.
