FOX PHILLY – A study done by UC Berkeley and Princeton University suggests rising temperatures are linked to a rise in violence.
Researchers found that climate changes such as droughts, floods and high temperatures are connected to an increase in conflict.
The study cites examples of domestic violence in Australia and India, as well as murders and assaults in the U.S.
Researchers also calculated a two-degree rise in the global temperature could increase violence by more than 50%.
