Craig Patrick, a local newsman for Fox 10 in Florida, did a wonderful job mocking Obamacare in what appeared to be an attempt to show how much of a train wreck this whole thing really is:

This guy must be suicidal, masochistic, near retirement, independently wealthy, looking for a career change or planning to join Snowden in Russia.

Bend over, sir, the IRS is coming after you.

  • stage9

LOL! The Republicans are winning the PR battle…

A CHIMPANZEE could win the PR battle against ObamaCare without a single ounce of effort. Republicans are winning IN SPITE of themselves not because they are such keen tacticians.

  • WhiteGuy2

Republicans are not winning the PR battle. This is just the result of reality smacking the low info voters in the face.

  • stage9

    LOL!

“Which would you prefer? The Affordable Care Act or ObamaCare?”

    “The Affordable Care Act?”

    ‘Why?”

    “Because it would be affordable.”

LOL! If there was ever an argument as to why America is doomed, that was it right there.

    • warpmine

      Spot on!

    • Kansas Gal

That was my favorite part too. Of course democrats are trying to use aca vernacular only. Republicans ought to make sure people understand, but they won’t. I think we need two new national tests. One to be allowed to vote, the other to be allowed to reproduce. Liberals love controls they might pass that.

      • WhiteGuy2

An IQ test score of at least 100 required to vote.

        • sDee

Should be no problem with Common Core. The same people who make the curriculum make up the tests. Marx would be proud. One mind . One government. One society. .Dissent will be ground out of us.

      • Jack Smythe

“Liberals love controls they might pass that.”

I love the way you think! We could package and “sell” this legislation as anti-racist along with giving people more freedom with these controls. Since they swallowed the hook with Obamacare, it’s worth a try.

    • badbadlibs

I wonder if she was too stupid to realize she was used as an example of the highly uninformed?
It’s come to the idea we have to educate these dummies one person at a time.

    • PNWShan

Proof that most people listen only to the title of the act, which is why politicians work so hard on the titles. A piece of legislation could be full of pork or expand NSA powers or totally muck up the education system, but if it’s titled “Civil Rights Expansion Act” they all think it must be good and therefore support it.

      • Suzyqpie

That reminds me of my favorite WDC name, DoddFrank, financial reform. Catch the Washingtonian irony of naming the bill after the architects of the disaster…How great is that.

  • DHardy

Pointing out the fact thatthe loontard left is confused and can’t explain themselves is something only a Republican can understand. I don’t know what will be needed to educate the left..they are way too simple minded to communicate with…Leftist voters are dysfunctional and easily led with innuendo and media propaganda and simple bar room gossip.

    • CapeConservative

I’ve said repeatedly that no voter should be allowed to register until after they have passed a 9th grade Civics test! It is criminal to allow such uninformed voters to negate the votes cast by concerned citizens!

  • OLLPOH

And get this, in an interview with Charles Barkley, Lawless Wonder, the killer of the Constitution guy…0, is saying that signing up for this piece of Crap0trap, is Part of Growing Up….

  • RWrad

Be proud America at the mental agility of our esteemed members of Congress, the combined IQ of all members is that of a pencil eraser.

  • Army_Pilot1967

It’s a dreadful law…possibly worst ever…but it’s still the law. I had hoped it would be repealed, but I’ve about given up on that happening. Lots of talk, very little real action on getting rid of the ACA.

    • sDee

Notice that nothing is ever repealed?

They just layer more laws and regulations on top of the old ones.

I am convinced that there is not a single person in the United States who is not in violation of some law some where.

      • clockwindingdown

        Yep!

      • Suzyqpie

The CFR consumes 17 feet of shelf space. That’s not enough, WDC does keep adding to it. Just like immigration, our immigration process doesn’t need new laws, it needs the existing laws to be enforced.

    • Suzyqpie

It isn’t a law, it is an experiment. The democrats have changed 0bamaCare into LabRatCare. They have changed the law 24+ times while searching for a formula that won’t spell electoral defeat for democrats. They are not concerned with the American people, they are motivated by one thing, their political power.

  • Conservator1

The saddest thing about uniform voters who don’t know yet that the ACA is Obamacare, is even with all the the news coverage on how unaffordabled it is combined with loosing doctors and hospitals, these lefty idiots would vote for Obama again.

It may be cruel on my part, but don’t care if lefty Obama supporters die as an example of what Obamacare has done to the greatest health care in the world.

  • WhiteGuy2

Can’t wait till the tax on employer sponsored health plans kicks in. Then people will really get upset. If Obama says your employer funded health plan is worth 10k then you get taxed on it to help provide subsidies for under privileged low info voters. It’s gonna be great. Now I really can’t afford to ever retire.

    • sDee

And when they sit down at a real estate closing and are presented an IRS form to report the federal sales tax due on the sale of their home..

    • badbadlibs

Wonder how many times the con man will have to change the start dates for this fiasco?

      • Gary

A baby with chronic diarrhea would have his/her diaper changed fewer times.

        • badbadlibs

That’s a rather disgusting comparison, yet somehow it works. ;-)

This time last year this reporter would have been fired and audited.

    • badbadlibs

He still may get the audit.
Ours starts tomorrow, IRS guy says it could take three months. ugh…

      • sDee

It has come to us too. Twice. First time in my life. All just a coincidence I’m sure.

        • badbadlibs

This is the first time in our lives too and we’re in our 60’s.
Wow, twice, that is very discouraging. Did they take months to accomplish, if you don’t mind me asking?

        • Jazz1232

Just keep in mind, their heart’s are in the right place. ;)

          Thank you so much!

…why don’t you Americans just repeal Mao Obama CARE ?”

    • Ken Valley

Because we have cowards as lawmakers, who are afraid of this Marxist Dick_tator!

  • LIBERTYUSA

…why don’t you Americans just repeal Mao Obama CARE ?”

  • timsrighty

The woman on the street interview is what made me LOL.
Question: What would you prefer Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act?
    Answer: The Affordable Care Act.
    Question: Why?
Answer: Because it would be affordable.
    And so it goes.

    • CapeConservative

And…this uninformed voter can negate an informed citizen’s vote!

  • unionville

I’m having a hard time understanding how it can possibly make sense too.

This clip would be much more hilarious if Obamacare wasn’t in the process of wreaking havoc on our insurance system and our economy.

  • http://www.srdaley.com Seth R Daley

Put your political differences aside and look at the data. In short…its working very well. Lets not forget, traditional business sponsored open enrollment for benefit eligible employees is confusing too – multiply that by the millions and of course its not going to be easy! IMHO…you needn’t be a healtchare or insurance professional….you simply need to take some time a READ. PS: Obamacare was a Republican created term – created to gain support in their deplorable tactic to undermine the Affordable Health Care Act – which was ironically, for the most part a Republican created concept under W. What short memories! Please, just stop the ridiculous rabblerousing and typical scare tactics.

    • Suzyqpie

0bamaCare, aka, as LabRatCare is a totally owned democrat debris field. It is a democrat experiment in our health care delivery system that has resulted in more being dumped from their insurance than have signed up for LabRatCare, the democrats experiment. Pres 0bama, in the course of intentional deceit was awarded the 2013 Lie of the Year for the gallimaufry of LabRatCare. “If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan” was a lie. It is personal, the democrats interfered with our ability to provide for ourselves and our children and you have the unmitigated audacity to call it scare tactics. Billions of taxpayer money has been squandered. The LabRatCare ad budget is a national disgrace. If it’s so great why do democrats delay all of the magnificent features of LabRatCare, aka, 0bamaCare. Pres 0bama didn’t care enough to supervise the launch of a website. A website that cost $800M, a stunning display of incompetence from Pres 0bama and the clan of incompetence autoecious bureaucrats that surround him. LabRatCare, aka, 0bamaCare has created a anomie that will greet democrat in Nov 2014.

      • http://www.srdaley.com Seth R Daley

        blah blah blah…:
cancellations sent to employees under employer sponsored health plans were in error on the part of the insurer
health care costs based on usage are DOWN
millions of americans can now get the healthcare they need…..emergency or otherwise without being denied or paying 700+ premiums
ooooo….the website had glitches…big deal. womp womp. Show me a website that that funneled millions of unique visitors upon launch that didn’t experience problems. Quickly fixed…not all Americans effected. Troublesome technology has nothing to do with a sound a solid Law…separate issues.
also, please excuse my ignorance but i wasnt aware any family, or child was denied health insurance under this much needed reform…save the moron congressman who FAILED to list one of his dependents. Great soundbyte…no weight behind it
oh..and quality of care has not diminished in any way…according to sources: independent, liberal, or conservative. There are no “death panels”, there are no month long waiting periods for emergency needs as was originally published would result.
Hummm,,,LabRatCare…blah. That’s just gross…its the same care you’d get if you went direct pay to any insurance provider allowed to underwrite in your state…….minus denial for preexisting conditions, minus inflated premiums, minus the bull. Something to be said for the last civilized country adopting such reform….but I concede…lets go your way and strip health coverage from those that can now AFFORD it…and place the burden BACK on the taxpayer for the care the same uninsured receive (recall, no hospital can turn away the ill); because you realize that’s where the money was coming from in the first place….probably not. HUmmm…kinda like car insurance. Brilliant.

        • jgilman1

Wow, I’m speechless. Go fact check yourself, come back, and try to put together a coherent argument. Wait never mind there are no facts to support what you want to say.

          • RosiesSeeingRed

I’m speechless too. Did you see the advertisement for the RI state exchange which he posted as PROOF that ‘”quality of care has not diminished in any way.” Unbelievable. I don’t think he even knows the individual mandate went into effect on Jan 1 and that “quality of care” cannot be measured in 6 WEEKS!

        • Suzyqpie

          Logorrhea alert.
          Detritus alert.

      • RosiesSeeingRed

I wouldn’t bother arguing with him. When he says stuff like “oh..and quality of care has not diminished in any way” — Seriously? He knows this how? He is too far gone. You cannot argue with the brainwashed.

        • http://www.srdaley.com Seth R Daley

A few examples: personal; statewide reporting; DOH statistics; various nationwide reporting systems – both supporting and not then taking the time to cross reference for supporting data. Some of us rely on research and collaborative reporting than 1 source, or as you assume, brainwashing. Many can’t however be bothered to research before jumping to a conclusions – takes to much time and, if logical in anyway might have to change their opinion. Here is a brief 30 second example of the public benefits for those that would rather not be laden down with research and data analysis. http://youtu.be/PPdKCugy060

          • nickthecat

            A crummy commercial???

          • Glenn

Your research is called propaganda and lies. Nothing about Obumacare is good. It’s designed to put your healthcare under government control, so the socialists can murder their opposition by denying them healthcare. Under govt healthcare, they simply refuse you treatment entirely or delay your getting it until it’s too late.

            • CapeConservative

              SRD – a paid troll???

      • CapeConservative

EVERY conservative Republican running should state over and over again that Obamacare was passed by a strictly one-party vote, using special legislative rules to skirt the normal Senate proceedings.

PLEASE, Republicans, do not let this one fall through the cracks! It IS a winner – but only IF candidates use the FACTS to counter all the personal attacks from the left!!!!

    • Botzilla

      Obamacare… so good its mandated.

      • CapeConservative

Mandated for everyone except the chosen ‘few’ – unions, members of Congress, White House occupants, Muslims. Please add to the list if you can.

    • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eWxCRReTV4&t=5m30s Booker

I didn’t think someone could be that daft, but yet, here you are!!

    • jgilman1

If you think this was conceived under W. you are as dumb as you sound. Even Obama Prefers Obamacare because it’s proven anything but affordable. Oh and Hillary Clinton coined the term Obamacare. How about you try READING. PS. they aren’t scare tactics if they are true, they’re scary.

    • Vorlath -

It wasn’t conceived by Bush. It was conceived by Hillary. Hillary let Obama into her inner circle when she was running. This was well before Obama was ever on the radar for running for President. Obama copied everything Hillary did, including her Healthcare and changed a few things around. He still has no clue what’s in it to this day.

  • blackbird

I had a good belly laugh. Thanks scoop.

  • 12grace

That was a hoot, I loved it.

  • HCTUB

Obamacare is just what the Left needs .

  • PJRodman

    That was hilarious.

  • giveususfree

Obama you jackass, it’s not a breathalyzer, or an inhalator, it’s an inhaler, my brother’s needed one all his life, so I know this.
    Smartest President ever, huh?

This guy just owned Obamacare, pretty sweet, but he better unplug his desktop, and get a tax lawyer lined up for the next 3 years.

  • LuscombeFlyer

    Actually, it’s Fox 13, not Fox 10.

  • ColonelNeville
