The Washington Free Beacon found out that Senator Liz Warren is a big ol’ hypocrite when it comes to “equal pay.” They discovered that the “wage gap” among her staffers was even larger than the famous statistic often cited by feminists!!
From the Free Beacon:
…women working for Warren were paid just 71 cents for every dollar paid to men during the 2016 fiscal year, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis.
The median annual earnings for women staffers, $52,750, was more than $20,000 less than the median annual earnings for men, $73,750, according to the analysis of publicly available Senate data.
When calculated using average salaries rather than median, the pay gap expands to just over $26,051, or about 31 percent.
The Free Beacon noted that while only one woman earned a six-figure salary on Warren’s staff (for those employed the entire year), five men were paid more than that for the 2016 year.
Ironically, Warren’s “wage gap” is actually worse than the average statistic cited by many feminists and those on the left to decry the supposedly inherent sexism in society. While female Warren staffers earned 71 cents on the dollar for every male, the average American woman earns about 80 cents on the dollar for every male.
Here’s some of the tweets on “equal pay” she sent out, instead of actually paying her woman staffers the same as the dudes:
Today is #EqualPayDay – and I cannot believe I have to give another speech fighting for equal pay for equal work for women.

Women are tired of hearing pay inequality isn’t real or it’s somehow our fault-& we’re ready to fight back #EqualPay http://t.co/O9RdRjQiv1

But we all know why she doesn’t do that – there are probably a lot of reasons why males deserve more pay than the females that have absolutely nothing to do with their genders (which don’t exist anyway, right? lol!). Just as with the regular “wage gap,” it’s mostly a lie told to advocate for leftists policies, rather than a reflection of any real bigotry in the world.
