On ‘Meet the Press,’ former Obama Press Secretary Bob Gibbs was pressed about the administration’s attempts to curb offenses to Muslims and whether he reconsidered in light of the Charlie Hebdo attacks. Instead, he doubled down saying America needed to assure Muslims that we aren’t in a war with them, but with those who “bastardize” their religion.

Given the fact that Muslims are protesting against the latest Charlie Hebdo cartoon in Pakistan and in Texas, but not so much about the murders committed in his name, it makes me wonder just how “bastardized” it really is.
