By The Right Scoop

This morning Boehner told ABC that he absolutely trusts Obama, that there is no issue there:

How in the world could Boehner say something so idiotic. Obama is a pathological liar and has been for as long as we’ve known about him. Boehner himself has gotten burned from Obama lying to the American public over and over to force Boehner’s hand of compromise. Ugh. This is another reason Boehner needs to go.

But on the flip side of this interview, Boehner is getting a bad rap for his comments on the debt crisis. What Boehner said above is that we don’t have a debt crisis over us now, but we’ve got one coming that we must do something about. And he’s right. But he isn’t agreeing with Obama on the debt crisis. As he points out, Obama believes we don’t need to do anything to even avert a looming debt crisis. Boehner says that’s entirely wrong and we do need to reform our entitlements before this looming debt crisis hits us.

So to be fair to Boehner, while he is a terrible Speaker and needs to go, he’s not wrong in what he said on the debt crisis.

Even Paul Ryan agrees:

Hey Boner, get out of Washington you RINO! Trusting Obama? Really? He has beeeeen sooooooo trustworthy over the last 4 years dumbass

  • http://www.navalwarfare.blogspot.com/ Libertyship46

Not for nothing, but when you have an almost $17 trillion (with a “T”) debt, most of  your revenue is being used to service that debt, especially paying interest on it. So not only do you have to raise taxes to pay for the increased spending and the interest on the loan, but it leaves you with a lot less money to pay for things you really need, like Social Security. Eventually you DO run out of money, just like Greece did, and we all saw how “well” that turned out for them. So if Obama is really bent on following that economic model, we really do have only a few more years before we go bust. And why would anybody trust a guy that wants to do that? Give me a break.

  • rebbiker

In stating that he trusts a pathological liar, “Boner” just proved that he is unfit to hold public office.  At least Paul Ryan had enough sense to do a political dance around the question to avoid answering it directly.

  • Rshill7

Weenie. You should be in a bun. The more you trust Obama, the less we trust you.

    • nosilasunny

@Rshill7 With the way he cries, the bun would be soggy in a few seconds.

      • PatrickHenrysBody

        nosilasunny LOL!

  • PatrickHenrysBody

Well Speaker Boehner, you may trust him…WE (freedom-loving people) DON’T!!!

  • tshtsh

Absolutely reminds me of categorically.  Criminals use that word right before a lie.  So, Boner does not really trust the “pResident”.

    • https://sites.google.com/site/warpminesblog/ warpmine

      tshtsh pResident Evil?

  • opinionatedhermit

Boehner’s main problem has nothing to do with whether he trusts Obama or not.
No, his problem is that not enough Republicans trust him. And, more to the point: He has no one but himself to blame……

    • OneThinDime

Great point and Republicans do not trust Boehner for very good reasons, he is an ObamaBot.  Boehner also came out saying he is going to pass amnesty for illegals.  Yup, he is the reason we will NEVER have anything but a Dem majority in the House, Senate and as POTUS

      • Wiggy111

OneThinDime The GOP establishment has already made up their mind on passing an amnesty bill.  The RNC has received a lot of big corporate donations in exchange for pushing this through.  They have an hispanic outreach marketing plan completed and will start the spending shortly after Obama’s signing ceremony.  I don’t think we have enough Kings and Bridenstines in the House to block it.

  • DCGere

    Bonehead…

  • https://sites.google.com/site/warpminesblog/ warpmine

May a pterodactyl chit on him as he leaves the Capital.

  • OneThinDime

Hey John Boehner, were your family members among the 4 murdered in Benghazi?  Were your family members in Mexico shot with the guns Obama and Holder ran to the drug cartels through their Fast and Furious programs?  Thought not.

Mr. Boehner, are you why Darrell Issa told the Obama Administration they would stop investigating them?  What did you do to force that?
Mr Boehner, how much money are you receiving from OFA to sell out the American public?

  • rocco11

Michelle doesn’t even trust Obama, what a flaming moron Boehner is.

  • nosilasunny

Well I don’t, and that is exactly why I don’t trust you either. Thanks for stating it aloud. Now I have no doubt that you are useless and feckless. What exactly was it that he has done to earn absolute trust? Was it shoving Obamacare down our throats using the most despicable tactics ever? Or was it the debt ceiling negotiations? Or is it the recent “I came up with the sequester but it is politically expedient to blame the Republicans and scare the crap out of America” tour? At this point you are complicit and therefore just as much to blame for the destruction.

  • 1217Chic

He must be pickled as usual

  • lonestar1

This is the fool republicans elected to be Speaker?  They deserve to lose in 2014.

  • PatLoudoun

He’s got to be baiting The One. If he isn’t, God help us.

    • PatrickHenrysBody

      PatLoudoun Start praying very hard.

  • marketcomp

That’s no different than what Paul Ryan has been saying. Can someone just pay John Boehner to leave? Do something, but get this RINO out, along with his team, Cantor, McCarthy, and Rogers.

  • PhillyCon

When I first read the headline, I thought, “Surely, he can’t be this stupid.  Maybe, he’s trying some jedi mind trick with the MSM and Obama.”  But then I concluded …  he’s not capable of it, even if he was trying to do it.

  • comoesta3

Palin called O a liar and Boehner said he “absolutely trusts” him.  I think I believe Palin.

  • Amjean

I am not defending John Boehner and the job he has done because I don’t really like the man or his work.
However, what was he supposed to say? “I think Obama is a liar!”  It is his job to work with the president, isn’t it?
What he says publically and what he says privately are more than likely two separate things.

    • M_J_S

Amjean Yes, that would be a good start considering the FACT Obama is lying to the American people-daily.  Starting with the particulars involving ObamaCare (premiums wouldn’t go up, keeping your own doctors, costs, etc), going forward with Fast and Furious, Benghanzi, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.
      Boehner, step into my office…

    • stage9

Amjean YES! Because THAT is reality! And no, I would be willing to bet that privately Boehner sleeps with his very own Obama plush toy. He’s truly that inept.

    • PatrickHenrysBody

      AmjeanYes! Example:

    • notsofastthere

Amjean That’s the same analogy we use to placate the Muslim Brotherhood. We call them ‘legally elected, provide them with billions and weapons, yet knowing they plan on turning on us the moment they are ready.
      Boehner needs to go now.

  • aposematic

Of course we DO have a debt crises Now. To say we don’t is foolish. We have had a debt crises for at least the past 20 years; and yes, it is getting worse as we argue the fine points nothing has been or is being done. Anyone that says they trust our Liar in Chief is self deluded, totally insane, or an even bigger liar.

    • 57thunderbird

      aposematic Or in Boehner’s case,drunk.

We need to force every Republican candidate running for a seat in 2014 to pledge to vote Boehner out of the leadership. Make it part of the platform.

  • JangoBear

C’mon Ohio TEA Party, primary a true Conservative and get Boehner out of there.  He will sell out this country before all is said and done.

    • 57thunderbird

JangoBear It will take a lot of hard work to unseat him.I his district he is as safe as Nan Piglosi is in San Fran Freakshow.

  • aposematic

Well, I can honestly say I trust Obuma…and the Democrats to always do the worst things possible to America and its people as they proved with Obumacare, NDAA, and Dodd-Frank to just name three very evil things.

  • 57thunderbird

Boehner and the rest of the RINO’s have been in cave mode for the past 6 years.

  • http://www.therightscoop.com MadJack

The man is a bold face LIAR!  He 100% lied to retain his job as Speaker.  We The People need to demand the republican party eject this fool for incompetence and collusion with Obama..

    scorpion and frog analogy…..
a frog was at the edge of  a pond , getting ready to swim to the other side
a scorpion asked the frog if he could get a ride over to the other side on his back…
the frog was leary and said .. he could not, he said if i give you a ride you will sting and poison me… i will die and you will drown…
the scorpion promised and swore that he wouldnt..
so with much begging and pleading the frog gave in.. when they got half way accross the pond  the scorpion stung the frog…

    • PatrickHenrysBody

davienne Before they both drowned, the frog asked the scorpion, “Why did you sting me? You know we will both die now.” The scorpion responded, “I couldn’t help it. It’s in my nature.”

  • lantink

Poor Mr. Speaker. I think he has spent too much time in the tanning bed.

  • temi227

Only a fool believes an habitual liar.

  • Lady_Penquin

Boehner is part of the Ruling Class and wants to stay there. Reminds me of John McCain said (during the 08 campaign) that Obama would make a “fine president.” It was that moment that I knew McCain would lose.
For Boehner to say he trusts the president is a slap in the face to at least half of this country, and 59 million people who did not vote for Obama, with good reason…

  • Godisright

    Boehner/Hillary  in 2016? Who would’ve thunk it?

  • stage9

    Are Boehner and Obama dating?

  • toongoon

Hearing this makes ME want to cry.

  • kimber1911

That’s why Boehner must go !

  • BearNJ

Boehner is an idiot. Ryan smartly used Reagan’s line in dealing wiithn the Soviet Union “Trust but verify”. How easy would it be for Boehner to say he’s mislead me before, misrepresented by parties positions and has grossly exaggerated the effects of spending cuts.
Boehner can’t be a spokesman because he isn’t very smart, can’t think on his feet and gives conflicting comments. He really is a disaster.

    • notsofastthere

BearNJ If Boehner can’t see the truth……..we don’t need him
If Bohener can’t tell the truth……we don’t need him

  • The Sentinel

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha……
This is what defeated looks and sounds like.
Boehner deserves the black mark on him through history because he’s a complete waste. Go have another cigarette and a fake tan you jellyfish… you’re rich, you caved, you’re getting paid.
There aren’t words for how I feel about that crybaby phony.

  • GetWhatYouPayFor

Great timing John. Just hours ago Sarah Palin called Barack Obama a liar, in no uncertain terms. It couldn’t be more black and white. Who should really be our Speaker of the House? Who is the crack pot or Whacko Bird and who speaks the truth?  Who has the common sense to represent “we the people” and who is clinging to the crony vestiges of power? Seems clear to me.

    • OneThinDime

Louie Gohmert!  He’s had the man parts to vote publicly against butthead-Boehner

  • Conservative_Hippie

And he’s the 3rd in line for the Presidency – :shaking head:

  • JohnCraven

Which bridge did Bonehead Boehner buy from Nero Obama this week?
The Golden Gate Bridge or George Washington Bridge?
With leaders like this running Congress and Rove running the GOP it begs the question: Does Mark Levin really think that the GOP can ever be taken back to the principles of Ronald Reagan?  If so, in what millenium and in what alternate universe does Mark Levin envisage that ever happening?
I think until then I’ll be happy to be an Independent unless the TEA Party/NRA/Pro-Life people ever decide they’ve also had enough of the Big Whigs of the GOP and form a genuinely conservative alternative party to challenge the two wings of the same Big Government Party made up of the incestuous advisers and strategists of both the Democrats and Republicans.
    John Craven – New Orleans

  • NJK

There’s something not right about Boehner.  If he says something like that, we have big problems.  With everything that man has done, and the lies he’s told, to say you trust him?  I don’t think Boehner’s mentally right.  There’s just something wrong there.  He needs to be removed, because at the very least, he lacks good judgement.  We deserve better than this garbage.  He’s not fit to serve in Congress, especially in the Speakers position.

    • OneThinDime

You’re right, just like “ObamaCare is the law of the land”, no amendments permitted for the continuing resolution.  The lashback against him and the Repubs needs to be firm and swift. The gov’t is only funded for a few more months.

  • NJK

Out of 300 million people in this country, this is the best they have for Speaker of the House?  I’m really getting tired of his district for putting him on this country.  For God’s sake, he’s as dangerous as Obama.  I’m beginning to think he’s in bed with him.

    • OneThinDime

      That was a visual I didn’t need this morning…:)

  • hongryhawg

IMO it shows that Boehner is also a socialist.

  • applepie101

‘How in the world could Boehner say something so idiotic’? He is a specialist in idiotic.

It’ll be total anarchy when they try to take away the food stamps and O-phones. Cryboehner is a complete tool and out of touch with reality if he trusts Dear Leader.

  • RReaganRepublic

Amazing.. Why doesn’t this asinine GOP est RINO just change his party affiliation to Obamacrat.. Boehner is truly a Obamacrat in disguise.. He wants to control the poltical power strings to advance the Obama cause of liberal progressive socialist policies of big govt. spending and borrowing, and big tax payer trough benefits to, of, and for their country club permanent political class elitist lifestyles in Washington DC..

  • Powerfactor1

Obama has no clothes and Boehner just said he does. Our government has been effectively decapitated intellectually.

So what exactly does this repubican idiot Boehner think that the ever lying Marxist in the WH did to earn his absolute trust? Growing government to leviathon proportions? Shutting down WH tours? Hollowing out the military? What?

    • OneThinDime

I posted elsewhere but follow the OFA money, how much ended up in Mr. Boehner’s retirement fund????

  • BetseyRoss

I agree with Boehner.  I abslolutely trust Obama to act like a petulant child and trust that negotiating with him is useless.

  • timcogswell

We need a speaker who is willing to stand-up to King Obama; Boehner is not that guy.

timcogswell The republican party is afraid of the blacks. Racial fear rules their hearts. Screw them.

  • pmb88

We had a chance in January, but no one really stepped up and the so called opposition to Boehner faltered, so we’re stuck with him and the rest of the lot.

    • OneThinDime

People did step up, unfortunately Cantor would have been no better, he is also a RINO and sells us out at every corner.

      • Lady_Penquin

OneThinDime Cantor is lockstep with Boehner, we can’t stand him here in Virginia, well, at least those of us who pay attention…

  • DocBarry1

House Republicans must rid themselves of both b and r – they are not conservatives and they are all talk and sell outs

  • ChrisOnARoll

Ohio are you listening? Republicans with some semblance of conservative values are you listening?
Boehner and and Ryan passed huge spending bills under George W. Why would they NOT do the same under Obama?  It consolidates their power when he leaves to not TOUCH Obamacare.
Would you stay with a doctor who says “let’s leave the cancer there – surgery is TOO TOUGH on your skin, we’ll have to cut you open, and all that time spent healing – let’s just kind of, uh, manage it, hedge it in a little and see what happens; It’s seems pretty comfortable in there and besides everything else looks pretty good in the rest of your body.”
Yeah – that’s what the depraved, emasculated Republicans are capitulating to with our heads on the chopping block.
They want to be collegial, while the liberals invade our homes, molest our children and set fire to our houses and next, move to our neighbors.
Just calling it what it is.

  • mikeinidaho

Absolutely NO difference anymore bertween the Demunists and the run-of-the-mill Repubs. This idiot is living proof.
