BOOM! Ted Cruz SCHOOLS Bret Baier on the false notion that he hasn’t won any fights

Ted Cruz was on Special Report tonight in a great interview, but there is a part of it that needs to be highlighted.

About midway through the interview, Bret Baier regurgitated the same lame attack that his predecessor Brit Hume has been leveling at Ted Cruz, an attack Hume even leveled at Cruz last night. The attack is that Ted Cruz is a fighter but he hasn’t won anything.

Well Ted Cruz quickly interrupted Bret Baier and explained that he has won several fights, including a big one on immigration. And it was awesome.

Watch:

BOOM! Somebody send this to Brit Hume because he needs to hear this. (Although I’m sure he’ll say these fights weren’t big enough or something).

There’s another clip that goes along with this one that I thought was equally fantastic. Bret Baier hits Cruz with the ‘divisive’ charge, suggesting that people believe he’s too divisive to get anything done as president. But Cruz had a terrific answer for that, explaining that if you aren’t ‘divisive’, then what that really means is you haven’t made principled stands against Washington:

Watch:

BOOM AGAIN! Reagan would be called ‘divisive’ too, as Cruz points out, and yet he was able to get a lot done in Washington as president.

Cruz is just too prepared for these lame characterizations. I love it!
