Newly re-elected Senator Tim Scott was on Morning Joe today and was asked a question by one of the hosts about his concern for helping lower income children. The host proceeds to cite the NAACP giving Scott an ‘F’ grade and asks him how he responds to that ‘if his true concern is for helping lower income families and children.’ Scott responds and he nails it, schooling the host on what it really takes to be successful and why the government isn’t the answer.
